The white porcelain turn button has an"P" cast into it for PERKINS. I tested the switch with a continuity tester and it tests ok. It works as a 3 wire should. I turned the button quite a few times and the contacts worked every time. It works by twisting the white porcelain knob. Vintage brown 3-gang Uniline wall plate, for switches
A 3-gang wall plate in the classic Uniline style. Made by Arrow-Hart. Larger plates in this style are harder to come by, since it was rarer to have more than one or two devices at any location-this one's for three standard light switches. As best as I can tell it's unused, but it does have some light scuffs from being stored without a wrapper for such a long time. The color is still a rich chocolatey brown color. A perfect finishing touch for a mid century home restoration, or for a retro themed store or office! A note about shipping-we're happy to combine shipping with our other auctions and sales. Vintage push button light switch pair. 2 way AND 3 way WITH cover plates
We remodeled some of our house(built in 1907) and these were the LAST TWO push button switches in the house. THEY BOTH WORKED PERFECTLY. The cover plates both say Patented Nov 3. 1903.The Perkins Electric Switch MFG Co. Bridgeport, CT. The 2 way switch says Pat Nov 3 03 on the back and the 3 way says Webber Association. We got a little white paint on one of the buttons, but it should clean off just fine. Any questions feel free to ask!

This person was an electrician many years ago. They appear to be unused. The porcelain bases were lightly cleaned to inspect for any defects. The chrome cover is dirty. All the switches have been tested with a VOM meter and are functioning. I have polished the chrome top on a few I have used with auto chrome polish. They turn out very shiny.
