Lot of 5 Vintage Metal Light Plates w/ Roses
You are looking at a set of 5 vintage light plates. There are 4 single plates(only 3 shown in picture) and 1 double light plate. Rose and scroll pattern. Come with screws. These were removed from a 1928 bungalow. They aren't original to the house. But the back of the double plate reads: 1967 American Tack and Hardware Company Inc#60 TT" Back of single plates read: AT&HC 60 D" I'm not sure what kind of metal they are. But they are solid and heavy. They have a brassy/gold finish that has patina of age. Other than being dirty- or patina-ed- the only flaw is that one of the single plates is broken where the screw fits. See picture) It was hanging when we found it. Vintage Uniline 2 gang wall plates, for duplex recepts, ivory, NOS
Vintage. New old stock Uniline two-gang wall plates, for standard duplex receptacles. These plates were made by Pass& Seymour sometime in the sixties, to the classic mid-mod Uniline ribbed pattern. They're unused and still in the original plastic wrappers, with no cracks or scratches. The color is a creamy ivory color with a soft sheen(my photo makes it look a bit dark) and would make the perfect finishing touch for a mid century home restoration, retro themed office or store, or just as a cool detail anywhere. Nice vintage lot of old porcelain electrical supplies. First there are 2 bulb sockets. The larger one has a screw out porcelain adapter and a side chain pull mechanism. It was made by Levititon and is 250w/v. The other says made in USA 250v. There are also 2 bulb sockets made by Bryant. USA. Finally there is a switch with no makers name. The metal part has rusting. The switch looks like bakelite but Im not sure. I am also unsure if the bulbs or any of this works so I am selling as is. However, I will answer any questions you may have at any time. Porcelain On/Off switches plus One Rotary Knob Off/On switch PES Mfg., Co.
These are(3) porcelain switches in the condition as found. A couple have a small chips along the base edge. The group includes: a rotary on and off switch. Marked P. E. S. Manufacturing Co. with an patent date of 1900. This switch appears to be Chrome and porcelain. The Single toggle switch is also Chrome and porcelain, marked Hart and Hegman manufacturing. The third switch is bakelite and porcelain, marked"Eagle" These are vintage switches probable from the 1920s. They may not be perfect. but all are vintage. This is a porcelain cover with the toggle on/off switch and the unglazed box. No chips or cracks. The porcelain cover is marked P.P. ing. Number 8378. The box is not marked. The cover is about 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. about 3/8 inch thick. Nice vintage switch and cover. This is a vintage item and may not be perfect. Probably dates to the 1920's period. Vintage Uniline wall plate for 2x Despard, plus switch and receptacle
A vintage Uniline single gang wall plate. For two Despard devices, plus a 15 amp switch and grounded receptacle. Despard devices were meant to allow for multiple devices in a smaller space-up to three in a single space-and were popular from the postwar years until the 1970's. You can still find some Despard items, but they're considered obsolete for new construction and are hard to come by. This is an original unused Uniline wall plate, with no chips, scratches, or discoloration, although the packaging is long gone. The switch and grounded outlet are also new, but without packaging. This is an interesting set, and if you need one it's one-stop shopping! A note about shipping-we are happy to combine shipping with our other auctions. A 3-gang wall plate in the classic Uniline style. Made by Arrow-Hart. Larger plates in this style are harder to come by, since it was rarer to have more than one or two devices at any location-this one's for three standard light switches. As best as I can tell it's unused, but it does have some light scuffs from being stored without a wrapper for such a long time. The color is still a rich chocolatey brown color. 11 Vintage Brass Switch and Outlet Plate Covers 4.5"square (2) & 2.75"x4.5"
These are solid brass outlet plates salvaged from a carpentry job 9 outlet plates and two double switch plates. They do have scratches and some paint on them. They can be cleaned up. If no one buys them they are going for scrap. They are.040 thousands thick. One of the double ones is slightly bent. They weigh almost two pounds. Not like today's China produced plates.
