I do wish everyone the Very Best of luck winning the auctions. Description Up for auction is a Very Rare Chinese Scenic Carved Bamboo Parfumier Incense Vase. The Incense Vase is a very interesting example. ... moreAnd this is the first one like this I have seen in person other than in books and high end auction catalogues. I was told by the estate the deceased collector considered the piece to be an Important and Very Rare example, and when it was purchased many years ago he paid right around 8000 dollars for it. I was told the inscription on the side indicates the piece was made in the 17th to 18th century, which is well worth looking into. I cannot read the inscription myself and this is just what I have been told, so I will let you ultimately decide its age and value for yourself and bid accordingly. The Vase is finely carved throughout with a great rocky mountainous landscape design including figures all around with some playing a board game, and has pierced bamboo trees, pine trees, and other interesting features. The Vase ends are removable and reveal holes which I think is were the incense would be places inside. As you can see the bamboo portion of the vase itself does have some cracks, which are all original natural age shrinkage cracks, which I am sure would be found on any earlier antique example like this. The Vase is overall in good original condition with no unnatural cracks

The Box does appear to have some good and legitimate age to it, but not having seen another one like this I am not sure if it would be a period piece or possibly later made, so I will let you decide for yourself and bid accordingly. The Vase is a superb and rarely seen piece. The Vase is very finely hand painted throughout with a beautiful famille rose nine-peaches design. The Vase has a finely carved footrim. And neatly hand written faint underglazed Qianlong iron red mark to the base. The Vase is in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. I have also studied the vase under UV black light, which shows no signs of restoration or damage or any kind. The Vase also came from the estate displayed on this fine antique rosewood stand, which will be included with it. The stand has a shrinkage age crack to the center, but is otherwise in fine condition, and is very stable for holding the vase. The Vase is a Large and Impressive size measuring 15 inches wide, by 21 1/2 inches tall, and 26 inches tall including the stand. I was told the Vase would have been produced in the later 19th century period. Chinese Guangxu reign. There have been a few identical examples that have recently sold at the higher end auctions. The Vase has Authentic gold gilding to the top rim, and side handles which is a very good indication the vase is a fine early example. The Vase is very finely potted of white porcelain. I believe be the exceptional quality of the vase there is a change it could be a Qianlong mark and period example, or at the very least a superb 19th century piece. The Vases are exceptional and very unique examples. I have seen some similar pieces over the years but these vases are of the finest quality I have personally seen. The Vases are richly enameled throughout with fully carved imperial figures scenes. Paneled landscape scenes to the top necks, and great bat form handles. The Vases are also richly turquoise enameled throughout, along with imperial yellow glaze to he top and base portions. As you can see unfortunately the vases have seen drilled but are otherwise in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vases are also signed to the bases with what I believe to be Qianlong reign marks. By the amazing quality I would not be surprised if the vases were in fact of the period, or at least fine 19th century Qing dynasty examples. This is such a great looking set. They each have a very nice color turquoise ground. Highly decorated in Famille Rose patterns, with flowers, double fish and bats. Each vase has two different mirror image scenes on the front and the back of Scholarly figures and a boy on one side. The vases are over all in good condition. One vase does not have any chips, cracks breaks or repairs. The other vase does have restoration that was done to the lip/rim. Signed Qianlong Chinese Green Monochrome Crackle Glaze Jar with Lid
Up for sale is a very fine and very rare Chinese green monochrome crackle glazed lidded jar with a handle. This glaze has a nice iridescent shade when turned in the light which is common on the older pieces. This piece is signed at the base with a hand painted six character Qianlong mark within double circles. Please use the detailed pictures and judge age for yourself. The Vase is superbly hand painted with vibrant iron red and gold gilt dragon medallions. Along with beautiful blue enamel top and base rims. The vase is superbly and very thinly potted of highly translucent white porcelain. The vase has a noticeable lightness to it and may even be considered eggshell porcelain. The bowl has a finely hand painted Qianlong reign mark to the base. The vase shows some light enamel wear but is overall in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The vase came from the estate displayed on this nice antique wood stand that will be included with it. Up for sale is this stunning six sided Chinese vase with birds and flowers motif. This vase stands 9 7/8 inches in height. The opening is 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches, the bottom is 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches and it is marked on the bottom. It is in excellen t condition. Free from damage with little signs of wear, very minor, normal production flaws and some residue on the inside that I have not attempted to clean. It is a really beautiful and colorful piece. The dishes have a beautiful design with famille rose lotus landscape and rich imperial yellow enamel ground. The yellow enamel work is also intricately carved throughout with scrolling lotus designs. The dishes have very finely hand painted blue enamel Qianlong marks to the backsides. The dishes are finely and thinly potted of highly translucent white porcelain. I am told by the superb qualities the dishes would have been made within the Jingdezhen imperial kilns in the 18th to 19th century period. The one dish has a light 1 1/4 inch hairline to the rim that can only be seen from the backside. The dishes are otherwise in very fine original condition with no other cracks. Chips, or repairs. Qianlong Period. Brilliant detail depicting a dragon on both sides among flowers and shapes. Blue and white with polychrome paint. All original piece with the standard calligraphy blue mark underglaze in a double circle, with a red dragon mark overlay. Bottle shaped vase with garlic top and squatty bottom. The Vase is a truly superb and astonishing example. The vase is superbly and very intricately hand painted throughout with some of the most vibrant and rich enamel colors I have personally ever seen. The vase is a fine and authentic antique example that I am told would date from the later Qianlong to earlier 19th century. Most likely being a mark& period example. The vase also has superbly detailed blue enamel elephant mask side handles. The vase also has rich turquoise enamel to the interior and base. The vase has a few small glaze frets to the top rim and a couple very tiny glaze frets to the one side handle that could be easily restored if one desired. Overall for its age this vase is in substantially fine original condition with no other chips, cracks, or repairs. This vase has also been closely inspected under UV black light which reveals no restorations or damage of any kind. So you can rest assured and bid with confidence knowing this vase has never had any restoration. This

This is a large Chinese hexagonal cylinder vase that has been beautifully decorated in polychrome enamel decorations. There are two large panels with hand painted scenes. One scene depicts two figures riding a grey and white spotted horse and a man in a yellow robe holding a fan. The second panel depicts a court scene. The section between the panels contains has colorful clouds, white cranes, and bats on a turquoise ground. The base has a hand painted Qianlong reign mark. But I feel this likely dates 1850-1900. This was part of a large collection of Chinese porcelain I purchased from a life long collector in Pennsylvania.
