I believe the hand signed artist's signature is in black along with a red chop mark on the side of the vase. There is a little loss of color to the gold gilded rim. On the bottom is the mark of Zhong Guo Jingdezhen Zhi. The actual age is not known to me. When holding the vase to a light source the thin walls of the porcelain is evident. There is a small tight hairline near the rim. It does not affect the integrity of the vase. Zoom in or e nlarge the pictures for more clarity. They are a part of the description. This beautiful vase is 11 inches tall. The top opening is 2 inches and the base 4.5 inches. The round gourds have a"width" of approx 5 in. and 8 in. It is nearly 4 lbs. It is in SUPERB condition. A tiny fire craze at the opening rim which may be caused during making.
