But we are conservatively dating it to the 18th/19th century. The vase is well painted in a nice deep blue with flowers on all sides of the bottom section, framed by blue leaves, with scrolling vines and flowers on the upper section. The vase is very well made and well potted. The vase measures 6.6 inches height or about 16.8 centimeters and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. But overall the vases are in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just the one vase shows two tiny base foot rim frets. The Vase has a fine and interesting Kangxi period form and scenic design including figures. Cliffs, lakes, trees, mountains, ect. I believe the Vase most likely dates to the 19th century period, it could possibly be earlier but I will let you decide for yourself and bid accordingly. The Vase shows some light wear and small glaze imperfections, but is overall in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase is a large and impressive size example measuring 9 1/2 inches wide at the top rim, by 18 inches tall. A Beautiful and Interesting piece. Provenance: This Vase along with many of the other items listed are from the estate of a prominent family. The Family owned large amounts of land in Hong Kong in the earlier 1900s period which in turn made them extremely wealthy. The Family travelled extensively and has mansions all over the world. Consisting of matching sets of Delft pottery or Chinese porcelain vases, were very fashionable in the Dutch houses from the 17th century onwards. They used to be placed on the shaped top of cabinets or cupboards. This type of garnitures mostly were assembled of five pieces, which could be alternately arranged to obtain a symmetric composition on the stepped top of the furniture. This unusual small sized five piece Chinese porcelain garniture consists of three covered bulbous vases and two beaker vases. All hand decorated in blue and milky white under glaze, painted with bird& flower patterns. The three covered vases each measure about 3 5/8 inches(92 ... moremm) high. Both beaker shaped vases stand nearly 3 5/8 inches(91 mm) high. The items are unmarked. Some pattern varieties can be found on the items, which is not unusual for groups of hand decorated Chinese export porcelain. Some differences apply to the covers. This was possibly once placed in a dolls house, on top of a piece of miniature furniture. Condition: one bulbous vase has a tiny rim chip; two other vases have some foot rim imperfections All little covers have imperfections to rim and one finial. One beaker vase is in perfect condition. It was bought privately from a deceased estate and is therefore fresh to the market. The piece is a good example of crackleware dating from the mid to late 19th century. Decorated in the Canton. It has hand-painted decoration depicting two small children. One waving a flag, under the care of an Elder. The condition of the piece is fair to good. It has no major structural damage but there are various marks and signs of age and wear, possible small firing marks and pitted flaws. As you will see the piece was converted to a lamp in the early 20thC. It stands some 10 inches tall with a bottom base diameter of 4 inches. The jars have some nice designs and I believe would date from the 18th to 19th century period. The jars show some light glaze wear but are overall in fine original condition with no chips. I have seen similar single examples to these sell for upwards of s a couple hundred dollars so I believe there is some very good value in this lot. Is of baluster form and is finely hand painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a pair of mirrored panels, each showing a bird of paradise displaying toward its reflection in the opposite panel. Decorated with birds and flowers, 19th century Description: This superb three piece Chinese porcelain vase set is hand decorated in blue and milky white under glaze. It consists of a covered bulbous vase and two matching beaker vases. All vases are painted with birds and insects surrounded by flowers. Both beaker vases are an impressive 10.25" 26 cm) high, the covered vase is 11,5' 29,3 cm) high. The cover has a'foo dog' finial. All items are marked with a Chinese Kangxi four character mark. This set is in outstanding condition. Considering it's age. The covered vase has a needlepoint sized rim fritting, while it's cover also has some very light frittings and a tiny chip to the animal's tail. ... moreBoth beaker vases are perfect. This set displays very nicely. Please view the pictures, which give a good impression of the condition of the items and the outstanding quality of the elaborate painting. Cupboard garnitures. Consisting of matching sets of Delft pottery or Chinese porcelain vases, were very fashionable in the Dutch houses from the 17th century onwards. They used to be placed on the shaped top of cabinets or cupboards. This type of garnitures were assembled of multiple pieces, which could be arranged to obtain a symmetric composition on the stepped top of the furniture. This garniture was made in China in the early 19th century(most likely JiaQing period) The shape, pattern and cobalt blue color which was used for the decoration, indicate that it was produced in a traditional style, influenced by the Kangxi fashion. Because of the demand for popular designs some were produced over a long period, so it is very difficult to date them exactly. From the 16th century onwards many Chinese products were shipped to Europe.
