This is a very fine Blue and white 1850-1899 Qianlong Nianzhi Qianlong period Vase in Qing Dynasty Early Mid 20th Century. This has Lottus SCrolls and stands for Double Happiness and Motifs in blue unerglaze. With the lid this is just under 7 inches. And 17 1/2 around. This is just under 2 pounds with the lid. The Scroll is shown this vase on two sides. As is the crane. I have turned this to show you all the areas. As you can see the first photos are not as bright a blue this is closer to the real colors. This is not a bright blue as every photo and computers show different. And I have given you close pictures which may make this look larger so please read the measurements given.This Vase does not have any Cracks.Chips,Or Repairs. Very fine Chinese grisaille vase. These unusual items were made in the 1740's and 1750's under the Qianlong emperor. And were painted only in black and gold. The motif contains many auspicious symbols, such as the spear, wish-fulfilling wand, incense burner and vases. Additionally, the vase has an unusual shape, making this a very attractive piece. There are no cracks or hairlines on the vase. It is in extremely good condition. There is wear to enamels, as should be expected; almost all the gold is gone. This vase came from an old local estate. Beautiful colors and details. A wonderful scene with fish and flowers on two sides and an indoor two different scenes with a group of men and women. Gold color background. Such a beautiful art work. Some of the paint is chipped. Seepics, but not much to change any of its beauty. One small flaw that I could see is the cap surface crack that can not easily be seen from the outside. It is glued well. Please look at the pictures. From what I know this vase was made between 1736-1796 during the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing Dynasty. The sign on the bottom translates to: Made during the Qianlong reign of the Great Qing dynasty This vase measures 13" tall and approximately 11" around at the widest. A result that was achieved by overlaying two colors of bubble-suffused glass. This Deepest Copper Red colour comes Firing the Kiln at Higher Temperature as well as the composition of the Glaze, and in this vase there is much purple which you can only see in a particular light. The vase have authentic ormolu gold gilt rim and decorated base. Along with turquoise enamel interior. The vase could use a cleaning and shows some wear mainly to the upper gilt rim, which is very consummate with its age and something that should be found on an authentic period example. The vase is otherwise in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase displays beautifully measuring 7 1/2 inches tall, by 3 1/2 inches wide, and 1 3/8 inches deep. As you can see I found an identical period example that sold three years ago at Christies for just over 44.000USD. This is a large white porcelain lidded vase with blue designs. It measures approximately 12 3/4" tall and 7 3/4" wide. I came across this at an estate sale. Chinese Qing Dynasty Monochrome Tea Dust-Glazed Bottle Vase Mark Qianlong Period
A very rare finely potted bottle vase with globular/ bulbous body supported by a splayed foot with a characteristic tall slender neck. Perfectly executed in every way with an everted rim/ lip profile and slender transition neck to the base. Covered overall with a delicate opaque tea dust glaze of deep olive olive green with a fine yellow mist. The glaze has been applied to also to the interior and base of the vessel; the very bottom of the foot ring left unglazed and dressed with a brown wash. The base is incised with a six-character seal mark beneath the glaze. Notice the very very subtle coloration of the light yellow dust tone at the beveled circumference which is also repeated at the top lip. The vase measures 18.6 cm tall. 12 cm at the wide diameter and 7.25 cm at the outside foot diameter. Overall stunning vase. There is a hairline ... moreto the glaze so fine it cannot be seen at all without the use of at least a 10x loop(photo 9) This was observed when zooming in to very close up photos. It is located in the vicinity of the bottom foot and upward perhaps halfway or less in the bulbous region of the vessel. Every attempt will be made to capture this in a photo but be assured this vase is rock solid. There is a little tiny(2mm) area of distress to the glaze on the inside lip(photo 10) As you are probably aware, photographing these tea dust objects is very difficult because depending upon the lighting conditions and background the vase can take on several different hues. We are attempting to use various photos that we believe are most representative of the beautiful deep olive color as it appears in typical indoor ambient lighting.
