The base is incised wit a six-character reign mark of Kangxi. As you can see there is a glaze imperfection right below the elephant handle on one side. The piece was inspected and described by an Asian Fine Arts appraiser. He gave me the details above and confirmed the authenticity of the piece. ANTIQUE CHINESE MARKED KANGXI- PORCELAIN PRUNUS FLOWER GINGER JAR VASE
Description: This auction is for a very beautiful Chinese Ching(Qing) dynasty Kangxi(K'ang-H'si) marked(1662-1722) blue& white porcelain prunus flower ginger jar or vase. The bottom has the 6 character underglaze blue Kangxi mark in Kaishu script. The vase measures approximately 5 1/8 inches tall. 5 inches wide, 3 1/2 across the base. The vase is in good condition; no repairs or cracks. The bottom inside rim has two areas that could be chips, or they could have been formed in the making(see photo#6& 8) there is pitting& fire marks which would be normal from firing. Some areas are duller, but the vase appears to need a good cleaning, I will let you do that. Chinese Famille Noir Vase Antique Kangxi Mk Prunis Flowers Jar Undercut Foot
Offered for auction is a wonderful large antique chinese famille noir covered jar with kangxi marks on the base and undercut foot rim of the kangxi period. The vase is beautifully painted and stands 16 inches tall and has been drilled as you can see. The finial was removed also when this vase was converted to a lamp. I removed the lamp parts which were circa 1930. This vase is at least 19th century and possibly of the 18th century. This vase is sold in the U.S. only due to it's size and the shipping is 30.00 with insurance. Stunning Antique 18th Century Kangxi Period Blue & White Jar Vase No Reserve
Up for auction is an incredible jar from the Kangxi period. It has only a few small"pore like" imperfections that I can't even get my camera to focus on. These were likely made during production. It is decorated in a beautiful under glaze blue motif with what appears to be 2 dragons and possibly 2 dogwood flowers. Below the rim there are 2 rows of decoration as well and a row on the bottom of the piece. The bottom is marked with 2 blue rings. In the middle of the mark is a commonly seen imperfection. Showing the age of the piece. The foot rim is obviously hand applied and unglazed, yet smooth to the touch. You can see the rings on the inside of the jar, showing that it's hand made. SUPERB ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE & WHITE JAR KANGXI MARKS - NO RESERVE
This superb antique Chinese porcelain jar dates from the 19th century. It has first class under-glaze blue decoration of a bird on a branch. Rock-work, large open flowers, fine leaves and bamboo and a good border around the top rim. The glaze is evenly applied giving the jar a lustrous shine. The condition is perfect and original however there is a tiny firing flaw on the inside lip of the top which measures about 3 mm and a small firing fault on the inner of the foot on the bottom. It has a good four character Kangxi mark on the base in under-glaze blue. The height is 13 cm. Across the shoulders is 13 cm, the diameter of the top is 5.5. cm and the diameter of the base is 9 cm. The vase shows some light wear and small imperfections throughout but is overall in fine original condition with no chips. Cracks, or repairs.
