19TH C CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN VASE with ROYAL SCENES
Here is a beautiful antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase with figural handles and royal scenes. It stands about 17.5 inches tall and features very fine hand-painted decoration of royal scenes. There is an ancient royal seated in one of the interior scenes. And two royal riders on horses in an exterior scene. The finish has sort of"orange peeled" but this is from age. Lovely figural handles. The vase is UNSIGNED but I believe it to be from the last half of the 19th century(1880-1890) It is in excellent condition, but there is an age line on one side(see the last picture) Never broken or repaired, but the age line is there. This magnificent vase is for a fine antique Chinese porcelain collection.

Beautiful Antique Porcelain Chinese Vase 18th/19th Century Famille Rose
Very nice early Chinese vase. Vase measures ~11-5/8" tall. It was drilled at some point in its life for a lamp. There is a hairline crack on the rim which measures ~2" in length. There is a makers mark at the botton which is partially drilled out for the lamp wire. The vase has wonderful colors and very crisp design. I am not an expert on Chinese porcelain so please ask questions.

The vase has beautiful heavily applied enamel coloration with a great variety of color and nice details. Measures 13" high with a top diameter of 6 1/2" Maximum width of 7" and the base is 5 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 4.11 pounds. This fabulous vase has had an old staple repair in the neck area. It is amazing how this repair was done with metal staples on the outside of the porcelain. It runs under the upper rim and around part of the neck area of the vase. The repair is not visible on the inside and although the staples can be found on the outside. They have been painted to blend in with the celadon background and painted design on the vase.
