The Vase has a nice period bottle form. The Vase has a rich and vibrant imperial yellow glaze, along with famille verte and aubergine glaze designs. As you can see there is an orange line to the vase body. At first I thought this to be on old repair but upon close inspection and also studying the line under UV black light it appears to be an original imperfection to the glaze that could be restored if one desired. The vase is otherwise in fine condition with no chips, cracks, or other imperfections. The Vase is a large size period example and is an impressive display piece measuring 8 3/4 inches wide, by 17 inches tall. I have been told similar examples to this have sold in the 20-30,000 dollar range when offered at the higher end sales. So although the vase does have the side glaze imperfection I believe it should still be a very desirable find and something that is not seen often. Decorated with Wucai color glazes. Wanli Mark on the base. The unglazed base is smooth like jade. It has three old hairlines and two old repaired chips on the rim- interestingly the repair was done with gold- meaning this was a very important vase when repaired. This is clearly an antique vase. Its very difficult to determine if its mark and period. But it definitely looks like it might be- and if not, its close. About 9 1/8" tall. Green yellow aubergine tea set in very good condition. All pieces signed with characters for wanly. this is ming 1573- 1619 period. The pieces are decorated with 3- Claw dragons and flowers and clouds and birds. Great skilled detail. The main piece is unusual shaped form. There are 5 porcelain cups, on has a small barley visible chip on rim. One has a small chip on bottom rim. NOTE) 3-claw dragon pieces are extremely hard to find.Please study pictures for details. The Vase has a rich and vibrant imperial yellow glaze along with famille verte and aubergine glaze dragon designs. As you can see there is an orange line to the vase body. At first I thought this to be on old repair but upon close inspection and also studying the line under UV black light it appears to be an original imperfection to the glaze that could be restored if one desired.
