It came from an antique store that ... moreclosed in San Francisco and they only sold high-quality items. I believe that this is from the Qing dynasty, but it could possibly be older. Not as much as the crack or chip on it. There are light scratches in the glaze from general use as to be expected from something this age, but it is in very good condition, taking it into consideration. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition. It does have a small flaw in the bottom, which I assume came from when it was made, but it does not go through to the other side.

Each featuring a bold blue and white design of peony blossoms. These superb antique vases are fresh from an excellent estate collection. The vases date to the mid to later 19th Century era(circa 1850-75) and come from a non-smoking household. Up for auction is an Estate Collection of two 19th century Chinese Celadon Glazed Plates. The plates are very finely hand painted throughout with ornate bird. Butterfly and floral enamel designs. The plates also have a beautiful light green longquan celadon glaze. These plates are not signed. But we think would date from the later Jiaqing to Daoguang period based on our research. The plates are in very good condition. One plate has some superficial scratching on the front but not in an enamel decorated area.It is photographed. The second plate has a faint craze line on one edge that is very light and a minute rim nick also shown in photos. The plates display very nicely measuring 9 3/4 inches wide each. These plates would make a great addition to any collection. And Asian inspired decor. Please. Ask questions before you bid.

This is a very attractive little Chinese stoneware vase. It is hand modelled with a three dimensional temple or shrine on one side- this is left unglazed. The rest of tvase has a celadon glaze. Rather a lovely little thing- a very nice piece of work. But no makers marks, and I can'tdate it exactly, but certainly pre 1960. Size: 3 1/4 inches high(8.5 cm) Weight: 127 grammes Condition- good- ther emay be a little chip to one edge of the modelled temple: it looks like a tiny piece of foliage has broken off- this is not obvious damage.see the photos.

The Bell is an interesting example and ... moreI am told very few celadon glazed bells like this were produced. The bell has a beautiful and rich longquan celadon glaze throughout. The bell has a finely detailed double-headed qilin dragon top handle. And also nicely carved designs to the sides. The bell could use a light cleaning and shows some light wear throughout the glaze. But overall for its early age the bell is in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The bell displays beautifully measuring 3 3/8 inches wide, by 4 1/4 inches tall. I have only ever seen one similar example like this in a book in over 20 years of searching for such treasures I have not seen another unique example like this in person. I was told by the estate they had an appraiser at Sotheby’ s look at the bell around 10 years ago which put a conservative auction estimate of 4-6000 on the bell at the time. The lot has some fine and authentic examples including a Song dynasty Qingbai glazed cloud carved bowl. A Song dynasty celadon glazed carved bowl, and a Tang dynasty Ding white glazed jar. As you can see the qingbai bowl and jar have chips. The celadon bowl is in nice condition but is slightly out of round. There is an old collection label to the interior of the celadon bowl indicating the collector paid 350 dollars for it and I was told it was purchased around 30 years ago. The bowls measure 7 1/8 and 6 3/8 inches wide. The jar measures 3 7/8 inches wide, by 4 1/4 inches tall. You do not find many legitimate early examples like these come up for auction.
