The Vase has a beautiful and perfectly consistent light blue Claire De Lune Glaze throughout. The Vase is signed on the base and I believe would conservatively date from the 19th century. The Vase also has finely carved and formed rim to both the base and original lid. The Vase also has an old collection label to the base along with remnants of a red seal mark. The Vase shows some light wear throughout. But is overall in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase is a nice large size example and displays beautifully measuring 11 inches tall by just under 7 inches across the body. The Vases show some light wear and some small glaze imperfections commonly found on examples of the period. But overall the vases are in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just the one vase shows two tiny base foot rim frets. The Vase has a fine and interesting Kangxi period form and scenic design including figures. Cliffs, lakes, trees, mountains, ect. I believe the Vase most likely dates to the 19th century period, it could possibly be earlier but I will let you decide for yourself and bid accordingly. The Vase shows some light wear and small glaze imperfections, but is overall in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase is a large and impressive size example measuring 9 1/2 inches wide at the top rim, by 18 inches tall. A Beautiful and Interesting piece. Provenance: This Vase along with many of the other items listed are from the estate of a prominent family. The Family owned large amounts of land in Hong Kong in the earlier 1900s period which in turn made them extremely wealthy. The Family travelled extensively and has mansions all over the world. One of their main residence is here in Toronto which is how I acquired the items for auction. Beautifully decorated in typical Cantonese Famille Rose enamels. Depicting an imperial courtyard scene with emperors& dignitaries, surrounded by butterflies& flowers. Please study the pictures, there is some restoration work, otherwise it displays very well, as pictured. Size: H 69cm(including stand) x W 23cm x 19.5cm Diameter of base c1840-1880 Condition: Restoration work to the top& bottom panels.
