The door is made of solid Cypress, has 1 glass lite and 4 raised panels. The glass installed is Plexi glass. Unfortunately. We don't have any old glass this size to replace it but, we could order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled. Tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- email us for a quote. If your not familiar with cypress. It is a softwood, but its quite durable and rot-resistant. It is very popular in the south because it can stand up to the high humidity. Here we have for bid are these very NICE 1880's Eastlake window sash locks. These 23 BEAUTIES starting with the ones on the upper left are 2 1/2 inches across and the ones in the middle are 2 inches across and the far right and bottom locks are 2 inches and 2 1/4 inches across. As you can see these are various designs. The LARGE ones on the top left have SOLID brass or brons bottoms but the top and all others have a NICE design and most are CAST IRON and a few have BRASS centers. Old Victorian Locking Window Latch - sash hardware
These are from a box of stuff in a garage. You are getting two complete locks. Plus two additional catches(everything is shown together in each photo) The mechanisms both lock and have a push button release. Their springs work. The very top of each locking mechanism is a brass ball; the rest is magnetic. All but one piece have their old white paint.

Victorian Era Painted Window Shade Mounted on Plywood
This large framed plywood panel was marbleized many years ago and then had an original painting that had been used as a roller blind applied to it. This painting gives the impression of looking out the window into the garden. The colors are very beautiful and the paper is complete. We just added the wood frame so that it is new. There are two wires on the back for easy hanging. The weight is app. 10 pounds, so its not too unwieldy. The paper is held tight to the background, no missing paint or any damage. Offered is this pair of louvered wood shutters removed from an upstate New York cobblestone home built in the 1840s. I purchased these to install on my village home. But moved to the country, took the shutters with me and none fit this house. I need the space in the barn, so they all must go. These have a closed width of 28 inches(14� each shutter) and have an overall height of 70 3/4�. Making them a bit odd in size. Both shutters have the original mounting hardware, and has one sash lock. The shutter on the left is missing the sash lock, and is loose at the corner(see detail pictures) All louvers are present, although one or two may be loose(not hooked to the vertical bar) and while they move and open, they are a bit sticky. Victorian Witch Stained Glass Window from Pendle Witch Country Cottage This is an antique stained glass window that has a witch in the center. The witches face and hand is fired into the glass and much of the other glass is hand blown with veriegated colors. The windows are in their original pine chippy paint frames with old hardware and wear to the frame. The frames measure 24" X 23.5" and the glass is 21" x 17.5" There is no damage to the glass. These windows were removed from a Victorian cottage in the Pendle Hill region of Lancashire. England over 20 years ago. The cottage was in the village of Newcastle-in-Pendle. The Pendle Hill area is to England what Salem is to the United States, famous for its 17th century witch trials. Because these came out of an old hardware store storage shed these could very well have never been used(and few scratches around the screw holes and the slotted screws look unused) but because I couldn’t verify that I’m selling these as used. This style and size and the fact that they are solid cast brass/bronze make these some of the hardest ... moreto find latches. With the price of brass and the fact that almost everything today is imported and made out of some type of cheap pot metal makes the likelihood of anything like these being made again slim to none. These are primarily used on casement windows but they work well and look great on cabinets or other places you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The latches are surface mounted and the keepers are mortised in the jam. I also have some on another listing that the keepers are surface mounted. The latches and keepers are cast bronze– brass. The working condition is very good with the latches having an age darken spotted patina(what you see is not rust, brass doesn’t rust) All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag so you’re getting them in as found condition. But solid brass/bronze will polish up superbly using a buffing wheel with a dab of brass polish on a power drill if that’s the look you’d prefer. The approximate measurements of the latch is 6 1/8” long x 1 1/8” and the center to center of the screw holes is 1 3/8’ x ¾” And the keeper is ¾” wide x 2

147. This auction is for a very pretty Victorian Era"Double" Leaded Stain Glass from England. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia. All of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply ... morerun your finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. LARGE! 2 Sided Gothic Church Arch Victorian Oak Above Door Transom Window Panel
HUGE. Antique, architectural piece! Salvaged from an old church, where it was an above door transom. Solid oak construction. This is finished and identical on both sides. Completely freestanding if required. There are 3 beveled recessed panels on each side. Inside each triangular recessed panel are raised beveled panels with multi-ridged round medallions. It weighs about 38 LBS, measuring approx. 61 1/4 inches long and just over 22 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches thick. A DRAMATIC piece of gothic architectural salvage! Some chipping and one crack, but nice overall. Good patina. I will pack& box for free and ship via Greyhound station to station for $50 US. All questions encouraged and answered.
