Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove paint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. These condition issues seem to"blend in" with the background for whatever you see through the glass when placed in a window.and the viewer is simply dazzled by it's beauty!you could have the one section with the cracks replaced or you could"live with it" as I did) Measures: 34" wide.44" tall.the wooden frame is about 1 3/8" wide. There is a metal bar attached to the window to support it at the middle to prevent buckling. The colors are rich and the paint is in very good condition. The wood frame is sturdy and has hooks on the upper corners for hanging. I do have a wooden crate made for it for easy transport when you pick it up. This window can also be shipped through UPS.

Antique Arts and Crafts Style Stained and Clear Glass Window. This auction is for an antique stained glass window that came out of Chicago. My guess would be that this piece is from around 1910. It features an Arts and Crafts or almost a Frank Lloyd Wrightish design. It's 11-1/4" wide and 29" tall. The glass is all original but the window has been partially releaded and has new zinc on the edges. It's been cleaned and regrouted so it should be good to go for another 100 years. The upper pattern is made up of opaque white granite. An off white opalescent, opaque brown granite and some opaque orange granite glass. The field is clear chip glass and the inner border is the same as the off white in the pattern. The outer border is a very interesting shade of opaque green. The glass is all obscure(the type you would put in a bathroom) Most of the window is colorless glass with the center flower design made up of Green. Lighter amber, and darker amber glass. Note: the center of the flower is a heart. The individual panes are separated by soldered lead. The size of the window pane is about 16” by 13” and the overall frame is about 19 ½” by 18” and is about 1 ¾” thick. The window and frame weighs about 8 ½ pounds. Restored 8'x3' Vintage Mid Century Modern Leaded Stained Textured Glass Window
Penn Antique Restoration. 8' x 3' Vintage Mid Century Leaded Stained Glass Window. What an extraordinary find! This spectacular. One-of-a-kind, vintage window was salvaged from Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's comprised of hundreds of pieces of glass; green, blue, pink, yellow, and clear. The majority of the pieces are textured. The design is of an urn flanked by 2 swags. Notice the 2 green and blue rondelles in the center-what great accents! The sash is made of solid walnut, and is finished on both sides. At the point of salvage. 99% of the glass was intact, but the leading needed some serious reinforcement(see last photo) We brought it to our local stained glass repair shop and they did a fantastic job-as usual! The job took about 2 weeks and cost about half of the current sale price. Every piece of glass was carefully removed, ... moreand every inch of leading was examined and straightened; all joints were reinforced. When we first picked up the window. I was amazed to see that there were no vertical bars to support the weight of the leaded skeleton and glass-most likely the reason why the leading sagged as bad as it did. However, as you could see from the photos; 2 vertical stress bars have been added to the interior side to ensure that the leading will remain tight and strong for decades to come. We're actually selling the window on behalf of one of our best customers. The window was purchased. Restored, but was never installed where it was meant to go(see 2nd to last photo) The home and the project were let go. This listing is for a vintage stained glass window. Frame dimensions are approximately 16 1/2" by 19 3/4" The glass is approximately 13 1/8" by 16 1/4" There are no breaks or chips in the glass. The design is made up of four colors: green. Blue, red, and yellow. The frame is not in very good condition. The surrounding glass has a pebbled finish. The paint on the frame is very, very old. If there were ever truly a fabulous buy on a documented Louis Comfort Tiffany Stained Glass Window then this Landing window is it.Any Tiffany appraiser or like dealer worth his salt would appraise this window for not less then 50 thousand and up to 100 thousand dollars. I will stand by that claim. I personally feel that Bonham's Auction House was quite low in their estimate of this window at 40 to 60 thousand dollars back in 2006. Suffice to say I was offered the chance to broker this window at the asking price I'm showing and I jumped at it. So with all due honesty and sincerity I give you one of the nicer Secular Estate Landing windows that Tiffany Studios produced around the turn of the Century. Even in this soft economy this Window is an outstanding Buy. An absolutely beautiful stained glass window taken from a home is Chicago. IL. The Craftsmanship is outstanding. Take a very close look at the photos. They show a lot of details, but don't truly capture the colors. This is an amazing piece of stained glass. The person who owned this piece said that it goes back to the very early 1900s, or older. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is panted on both sides. It measures 19.7 inches wide by 38.5 inches tall. It is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 16 x 34. It can be hing either way. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The glazing putty needs touched up.
