Each measures 29.75 wide by 22 tall and are 1.75 inches thick. The other end is 15.5 inches tall. The glass only measures 26 by 12.25 inches and 18 inches. They are 1.75 inches thick. These are a superb pair of Staffordshire seated hearth dogs with the white and gilt décor with the original glass eyes. During our research we have been informed they certainly date from the period of the 19th century. Certainly a wonderful portrayal of the large seated hearth dogs. A left and a right. Wonderful overall decoration with the hand painted detailing to the faces and bodies with the gilt. Collars and chains, Each has an overall height of about 11.25inches. Base sizes of about 8 x 4.25inches. Max dias including the tails of about 9inches. England in 1834, by the illustrious Georgian silversmiths, Joseph and Albert Savory of A. B. Savory& Sons at their Cornhill workshops. Each measures 7 1/8" long and is 1 1/2" across its bowl. They are the OLD ENGLISH pattern and are NOT engraved to the handles. Each spoon weighs 41.6 grams-making a total weight of well over 2 1/2 troy oz. Antique Pair Sewing Pin Cushions, Red, White Blue, American Shield, Jockey Cap
This is a pair of pin cushions with vibrant red. White and blue color. The American shield is flat with pins around the outer edges. The stars are actually tin and are sewn in place. It has some small holes in the red linen backing and two small ones on the red linen front. It measures 2 1/2" by 2" The jockey's cap pin cushion is made with silks and has some soiling on the white and a few missing pins. THIS IS FOR A PAIR OF Vintage Jens Quistgaard Crown Candle holders stamped Dansk Design France IHQ. These have been used and enjoyed. They also have a bit of wax from the old thin candles in them. I have just left these in the condition I purchased them from an estate sale. My trick is to freeze a candle holder and it makes it easier to remove old wax. If I have time I will try and do this for you. They also just need a quick polish with a little silver cleaner. As you can see in the photos; they have not been cleaned or anything. But do not have any major flaws other than the relatively easy cleaning issues I have mentioned. I have just not had the extra time as I said to do the above, but I know collectors just know what these are and know these are in expected condition for items that have been just stored for the past years.
