VERY RARE VICTORIAN WOOD TIN CURTAIN VALANCE THESE ARE VERY RARELY SEEN VICTORIAN ANTIQUE PIECE. I HAVE TWO OF THESE VALANCES LISTED. THIS ONE IS 40" LONG AND THE OTHER IS APPROX. 75" SO PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE OTHER ONE IF YOUR INTERESTED IN BOTH LET ME KNOW. Pair of antique Victorian wood window shutters measure about 63" tall x 22 1/2" wide x 7/8" thick and are in as found condition. They have mortise& tenon/ pegged construction. Movable louvers and the remnants of old blue paint. Shutters are very weathered with some cracks, splits, chips to wood, imperfections from 100+ years of use. Louvers only move slightly due to layers of paint, a few louvers missing pin that attaches them to the tilt bar that moves them, frames slightly loose due to some pegs missing.

Antique Victorian Brass Door or Window Drapery Curtain Tie Backs Holders Set #2
Antique drapery or curtain tie back brackets. These may have been for a french door or large window. The reason I say this is that they are not stationary, the hook shaped part dangles from the mount, so they would hold a large drape in a more swag type form. They are quite old and have original patina, I believe them to be brass, but please view photos carefully and judge for yourself. Some wear can be seen, both to bracket and mounts. The front decorative medallions measure approx, 2 1/2" the entire bracket from top of mount to curve in hook measures approx. 11 1/4" One is stamped on back T7 I believe. see photos) They are somewhat bent differently as can be seen in photos as well. Here I am offering lovely antique Victorian enamel mourning brooch(can also be worn as a pendant) with a glazed window. Displaying a piece of fabric. Maybe it the fabric is from the favorite dress of a deceased wife? Often these windows hold hair of the departed. Size: 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" Condition: Very good antique condition. See photos.
