Antique Iron Frame Leaded Stain Glass Top Hinged Transom Designer Window
Up for auction is an antique stain glass window. This casement window with a top hinge transom is really nice. The frame is made of what appears to be wrought iron. It is solid, unbent and unbroken. The window would require roughly a 19" x 35 1/2" opening to install. Note I am saying roughly. A carpenter. Installer or builder would determine the exact measurement. There are no cracks in the glass. The hinged transom is in perfect operating condition including when you draw it closed. It locks down tight. Please realize that the frame will require stripping. Repainting and re-caulking to bring the window back to top form, although some may prefer to put it to use in it's current condition. Which is completely feasible. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It has a light pink border and clear distorted alligator pattern in the background. The center has 2 yellow hand blown roundel jewels and mottled caramel stained glass. To either side are green. Pink, and caramel vines. There are 4 yellow fascet cut jewels. The frame and glass have a semi arched top. The frame is painted on both sides and is in good shape. It measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches tall in the center. 12 at the ends, and is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 38.5 by 14.5 and 9.5. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There is a light chip at the corner of the frame and th glass needs cleaned up. There are a few tight hairlines. Abstract Stained Glass Transom Window Contemporary Nuggets Suncatcher Panel
Stained glass panel measures 22" x 15.5" Fo r this panel I used colorful glass nuggets and clear glass as background. Patina is cooper. This panel was constructed using the copper-foil method. Each piece was hand-cut. Ground to fit, wrapped in copper-foil and then soldered. Dark patina was applied to dark the solder lines. Finally the piece was cleaned and polished. Framed in zinc. Description This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It has a very nice and unique design. The frame is rectangular and the glass is arched. I see no cracks or breaks. The frame is painted on both sides. It measures 70.25 inches wide by 23.5 inches tall and is 1.75 inches thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Metal brackets have been added to the lower corners. Wood putty has been used to patch the frame. It needs sanded. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Mansion. It has a clear distorted background with a blue flower. I see no cracks or breaks. It measures 40 inches wide by 21.25 inches tall. It is just under 1 inch thick. The glass only is approx. 35.75 x 17 inches tall at the center. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. A few moldings are new. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: 111265 Shipping. Description The glass has a semi arched top within a rectangular frame. It has a very intricate design and amazing colors. There are 17 facet cut jewels. This window is circa 1880. It measures 65.25 inches long. Is 20.25 inches tall and is 1.25 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 11.75 inches tall a the ends and 17 tall at the center. It is 62 inches wide. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a few small and tight hairlines. Vintage Transom Window Rod Lifts Up for sale is a mixed lot of 8 vintage Transom Window Lifts. They are made of copper coated steel. All of them have an aged finish. 5 of them measure 14 7/8" when fully extended. Some of them are bent. They all have a joint at the middle. 1 Of them is a half of the 14 7/8" rods. It is missing the part of the rod that doesn't have a hinge. This piece measures 7 1/4" long. 1 Rod measures about 18" long. It has the hinge piece in the middle that extends 7 5/8" long. 1 Rod measures 15 1/2" long. The hinge piece sticks out about 8 1/2" from the center. Also included in this auction are 6 small"brackets" that are used in mounting these. They slide over the rods and screw into the desired place to mount them.
