The catches are unused and the finish is in fair condition with some checking and slight rust especially underneath. The catch measures 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 1/2" and 2-5/8" from tip to end of pull and about 1" high overall. The pull is 1/4" thick. Description This is a great window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. The glass is semi-arched within a rectangular frame. It is the original frame which is solid and sturdy. It measures 32 inches wide by 16 tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approximately 28 wide by 12 tall in the center and 10 at the ends. Overall it is in good condition. Antique Victorian Old Leaded Glass 4 Ft. Transom Window c1900 Textured Glass
This is an old leaded and beveled transom window salvaged from a St. Paul. MN Victorian mansion 1900. The frame(1 1/2” thick) is painted on one side and varnished on the other. In the frame, it measures 48”w x 19”h and the measurement for the glass only is 44”w x 15 ½”h. The border of the window is glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. T he foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass with beveled center pieces. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing and there is no damage to the glass. Leaded Glass Door Transom Window Panel Pane 40 Triangle Panes 31 7/8" L
This lot is for a very old window pane. The piece measures 31 7/8" L x 9 1/4" W x 5/8" D I purchased this piece at an estate sale. I have no idea where it come from- door. Window, interior transom- not sure. There are 40 triangular window panes. The piece weighs 4 1/4 pounds. The panes are not broken. But there is dirt in the corners that will need to be cleaned with a Q-tip or toothpick. The metal is a lead with a mixtures of another material. I am not sure what it is. Lead alone is very soft and pliable. This is not pliable. It does not bend and it is sturdy on its own. I will ship this piece in the middle of two pieces of wood. Antique Fancy Stained Glass Transom Window with many Beveled Pieces 65" x 25"
Awesome old window as shown. Original wood frame. We see 3 hairline cracks in the colored pieces(none are beveled) There are some areas that are bowed out. This window is direct from an estate we purchased and it is as we found it. There is cardboard attached to the back side. We assume this was for protection(it was stored in a barn) or for added stability. This item can be picked up by you or your shipping company at our location 40 miles west of Indianapolis. We can also give you the number of a company who has been here before so you can get a quote if you want it shipped to you. You will have to make arrangements and pay the shipping charges. Stained Glass Transom Window Panel - Study In Blues & Greens With Bevels
This panel was made in the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. The piece is made up with twelve different colors. It is then framed out with bevels. The solder and zinc on the piece is silver. There are four hooks so that it can be hung from any orientation. It measures 9 1/2 inches by 25 1/2 inches. The panel will be shipped in a custom wooden crate to insure safe delivery to you. Description This is a nice window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia. PA Victorian Home. It has all clear distorted glass in a variety of textures and patterns. The jewel in the center has a light purple tint. It is in the original frame which is painted on both sides. The total measurements are 40 inches wide by 16.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 12 inches by 45.5. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning but should clean up nicely. That is completely crack free. all of the clear glass is beveled. it does have some sag to the glass/ it could probably be flattened for less than $250-300. it measures approximately 60 inches long by 19 1/4 inches tall in its frame, which has been stripped and refinished as the old finish was in horrible condition w/ caulk and many layers of paint. the frame appears to be heart pine.
