Antique Aesthetic Victorian Stained Glass Double Hung Window
Vibrant colors make this double hung window quite stunning. This window frame measures 45 3/4" long by 22" wide. The top glass piece measures 20" long by 18" wide. The bottom piece is 19 1/2" long by 18" wide. There are a total of 10 jewels. The diamond shape centerpiece of the top window is a beautiful clear light blue glass with bubbles and a three leaf clover in the middle. The bottom has a wonderful red round crackle glass. This window was taken from a home that was built in Evansville. IN in 1900 and an extra wood frame has been added to help keep the frame safe. I can not find any makers marks on either window. Both stained glass windows have a rod to keep the glass from sagging. They have helped but there is still a bulge or movement of the glass on both the top and bottom. Both need to be flattened. BEST PAIR Art Nouveau Antique Jeweled Stained Glass Transom Windows Victorian
Believe me when I tell you. If I had even an inkling of where I could put these in my home, these would not be available for sale. However, since I have no architectural or practical use for these, I figured I would pass these along to someone who can provide them the proper setting. This stunning pair of art nouveau styled stained glass windows have an outside measurement of 77 3/8ths x 20 1/8 th inches. And a rabbet measurement of 73 ¼ x 16 inches. These came out of a home on the Westside of Cincinnati in the 1970’s and have been stored ever since. Seems these were a project started that was never finished. The frames on this pair have been stripped years ago and could use a“freshening up” in my opinion. There are 4 beveled jewels on each window and the soft hues of amber and purple blend well together in my opinion. Add in that these ... morehave a superb art nouveau style, and this is truly a stunning pair. The caming is tight. The windows are not bowed and with the exception of a few small cracks, the worst of which we have pictured, these are just excellent in overall condition. If you have never dealt with these old windows, then let me give you a little hint. First off, finding a pair is not easy, let alone a pair this size. Being that these are structurally sound. If I were to keep these I would not do anything but hang and appreciate the beauty. I would not replace the pieces with cracks since they are tight cracks and not in any danger of falling out. What I would do if I did anything, is mix up a small batch of clear resin and pour it into the section with the crack. This will stabilize the cracks, not change the color, and the caming acts as a border so the resin will be contained in just the one section. This item is local pick-up only due to size/weight. So floated, hand made and probably early Victorian possibly even older. The image is of Michelangelo in his later years. His name has been spelt Michaelangelo by the artist. Pair Set Antique Victorian Or Arts & Crafts Stained Glass Windows
This is a beautiful pair of antique Victorian or Arts& Crafts stained glass windows. I'm not sure as to their age. But I would estimate late 19th to very early 20th century. The top window measures 26 1/2 inches tall by 32 inches wide. The bottom window measures 27 inches tall and 32 inches wide. They are each approximately 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches thick. The colors on them look great together; they were well-chosen. They're very well-made so they've held up well. They're both very tight. There are a few pieces of damage to them. The red piece on the bottom window(on the middle right side when facing it from the painted black side) has little cracks. The yellow piece just below it and to the left has just a small line crack. The breaks appear to be old and will not get worse. The bottom piece has a piece of the wood missing ... moreon the top at the end. Please see photo) Each window has silicon going around the exterior where the stained-glass meets the wood on the black painted side of the window. Each has hooks. Which were added much later, to hang them up. One weighs just over 20 pounds. The other just over 21 pounds.

Wonderful antique ruby stain or flased egg jewelry casket. It measures 8 inches long. 5 1/2 inches wide. 6 inches tall. Brass ormolu frame. It is numbered 33 on both pieces by the hinge. The hinge is a little bit loose, but works fine. The latch does not clip in place tightly. Probably just from use. The ormolu on the lower right portion in the front is a bit lower than the other side. I have shown pictures of the wear on top of the lid and then bottom. There are a few other fine light scratches as well, but nothing extremely glaring. 1 teeny nic on the lid which I took a picture of. It is highly magnified so you can see it better. It is heavy weighing just over 4 pounds. It really displays nicely even though it isn't perfect. Most likely Bohemian but I could be wrong on that. From a lovely estate. Check out my other items!
