This Victorian style stained glass window panel was handcrafted by me. The Tiffany Foil method was used to construct it. The dimensions are approximately 11" by 14" The green glass has some purple streaks. The Fleur De Lis has purple and light yellow cathedral glass, the background glass is clear glue chip. Just picked this at an estate sale. The window section is 42" long. 32" wide, and 1 3/4" thick. This is an old window for a loft/gable end seen in older Victorian era homes. The one side has severe termite damage, but may be salvageable if sawed off and re-framed. The red glass panes are of different darkness/shades of red. No cracks or broken sections. This is a beautiful piece with lots of rich red color and potential. It will need to be packed well because it is fragile and a large piece which costs more to ship due to certain package size fees. This is just a great window in my opinion the use of color is beatiful and all of the Victorian colors are in this window. I especially love the rare Cobalt blue in the urn how indicitive of the time. I have to remind you there are a few cracks in the glass and to be honest if you are some one that doesn't like that thought I don't think you will get glass to match to repair since there are hundreds of little pieces of glass in this. I think it's georgous with it's little flaws sort of like"wrinkles of time" I do have it framed but will list both sizes with and without to help you plan where you might like to use it. These jewels are great Czech quality and are probably for either stained glass windows(the larger) and jewelry. The large round stone does have a small chip on the edge which would be covered by lead in the windows or mountings if used in jewelry. It is 1-1/4" across. The Two smallest are 13/16' by 5/8" The 3 next size oval stones measure 31/32" by 9/16" The 4th stone of that same width and height is slightly darker and a touch thicker. Pair of Antique Tiffany style Stained Glass Victorian Windows
Antique Schlitz Beer Etched Growler. Pre-Prohibition, Porcelain Top, 1900?s Finding one of these beautiful windows is great. But to find a matching pair of antique windows is wonderful. Each window measures about 35” wide and 45” tall. They have nice original solid metal frames in the back. That are about one inch wide plus reinforcements. In the photo that shows the two of them, the one on the right side does not have the top and the right side frame pieces in the back. Both of them are still very solid and can still be moved easily. The way that I had them mounted in my home, it made no difference at all with the frames the way they are. Many of these antique windows have no frames at all so having this much framing is a great bonus. I had thought of building a simple wood frame but did not find it necessary but I can show you my design ... morewhen you pick it up just in case you would want to frame them in wood. There is one piece of blue glass that has a star crack that is shown in one of the pictures and it is still held solidly in place. Couple of other basic normal expected tight cracks and if you love antiques like we do, then they just add to the character. If you demand perfection then there are plenty of new pieces coming in from China. I was told that these were from around 1890 but have no way of knowing when they were made for sure. I have had this matching pair of antique windows in our master bedroom for awhile and have enjoyed them but we decided to change the room around so they are going up for sale. If they do not sell we will put them in another bedroom in our Queen Ann style historic home that has another set of windows where the would fit the same way. These are pick up only and I have no intention of trying to pack them. They are certainly not sun catcher size. And are quite impressive but I was able to transport them easily with my Durango and most mini vans would work fine. Each window measures 25" tall by 19" wide and the glass only is 21" by 15" Both windows has some bowing/ wave to the glass one has 4 cracked pieces the other has 2 both windows do have some sandblast issues. The glass and frames are solid no loose pieces. This pair displays nicely and will last another 100 plus years. This set will be sold as is.
