It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted ... moreon both sides. There are 4 blue facet cut jewels and a blue ribbon below the central wreath. It measures 48 inches wide by 16 inches tall. It is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only measures approx. 44 x 12. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. One piece of glass has a tight hairline. There are chips to the edge of the frame. Please see the pictures carefully. Ref: 121302 Shipping. Antique 1890's Victorian Stained Glass Entry Door Transom Window with Jewels. The dimensions are 55 7/8" x 19 3/4" x 1 3/4" thick. This is a beautiful piece with beautiful decorative glass. All hardware intact and an aged painted black finish on one side and an aged painted maroon finish on the other. The glass and joints are absolutely beautiful and in great shape. The jewels are excellent, and the frame and is in great shape. The interior iron bracing rods with iron twists are still present. There is one small piece of stained glass that is broken with missing pieces and a few glass pieces that have hairline cracks(see pictures) This is in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and are ready for display. This piece was made in the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. The vintage plate is clear and has many cuts that catch the light very well. The plate is anchored on all four corners with four marble nuggets. Then framed out in orange. Teal blue and yellow. Then framed in a solid black. The piece measures approximately 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" and has four hooks so that it can be hung from any orientation. The piece will be very carefully packed to insure safe delivery to you. The fronts are very ornate with fluted pilasters beside the glass. There are shelves above and a shelf with beadwork below. The transom has a semi arched top and 26 jewels. This real nice arts and crafts transom is from a home in Marietta. Ohio I purchased. I have listed 4 other matching clear leaded beveled glass windows from the same home. This leaded stained glass transom measures in overall dimensions: 89" x 15-3/4" I can only find one crack in the small butterscotch piece of glass. I thought there was another however it just APPEARS to be a crack but it is a flaw in the early glass because there is no crack on the reverse side of the piece. It is a very sturdy! Stained Glass Transom Window Panel - Blue Princess House Plate & Tapestry Glass
This panel was made in the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. The center of this panel is a blue princess house plate which has a tapestry glass background. Here is a band of blue hammered glass which is then surrounded with bevels. There are three vintage beads which look like the plate is hanging from the beads. The solder and zinc is silver. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a North Carolina Church. There are lots of greens and tans with blue and red accents. The frame is painted white outside and has a dark stain inside. It measures 70 inches wide by 32.5 inches tall. It is 1.75 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 62 wide by x 27 tall. Vintage Stained Glass Transom Slag Glass Salvaged SOO LINE RAILROAD CAR CABOOSE?
Vintage Stained Glass transom window. Size is 28" long by 10.5" high oak frame. And the glass size is approx. 24" w x 7" high. I bought it at an estate sale of a gentlemen who worked for the Soo Line Railroad, and he salvaged many items from the train cars over the years(including a nice antique wringer washer from the same train. This window was painted flat black on the inside- I stripped only the glass in order to see the color. Otherwise, it is in as-found shape- the bottom of the sash is missing a small piece of quarter round which could be replaced. The glass is a very bright green and yellow slag mix. There are cracks in two of the panels, however it displays well. The holes in the both sides of the interior the window show where the transom hardware was attached. The transom also has numbers stamped into the top ... morerail, but I am not sure if they are merely part numbers or what. I don't know if it came from a caboose, dining car, or other special car- my research didn't find anything like this.
