THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIND AND IS AN OLD SALVAGED CHURCH STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH ... moreAN ARCHED SHAPE THAT IS ABOUT 3 1/2 FEET TALL I love the old windows. Especially the ones that come out of the old Churches, like this one. This is just incredible. It is an older window that is about 43" tall. It has a wood frame with the old white paint on the front and brown on the back. The paint is now chippy and peely for a perfect patina. It has the amazing arched window at the center with twelve colored glass panes all around it. The center has an awesome pattern that I believe like the old stencil in white. Not sure if this is considered stencil. The colored glass all around is gorgeous in different colors. The bottom glass pane on the left has some cracks or a little break, as I show in some close ups. There is only one pane with a break. There is a slight separation to the wood at the top, as I show. There is some missing window putty, but it appears solid. This is such a statement making piece that will be one of your favorite items in your own home. Don't pass it up! Great in any shabby chic, Victorian, Antique, romantic cottage or French country home. Measurements are about 43" tall by about 22" wide and 1 1/2" deep. It weighs about 12 pounds. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. Greetings! Up for sale is my lovely leaded glass window with a flower design. It measures 22.25" wide x 18" high. And has to modern hooks in the top to suspend it in your window. I'm not sure of the age, I just know I've had it for ages! There's no damage to the glass or design, and the wooden frame seems to be unfinished. At each corner there is a dark metal staple of sorts that keeps each side together, kind-of spanning the cornices if you will. They are hardly noticeable, but then if you want a detailed picture just ask because every person will have a different opinion on this. Feel free to email with other questions as well. RARE Leaded Stained Glass Window Blacksmith Hardware Frame Lock Stay Church
We believe from our research that this is at least an 18 th century window ~ possibly earlier. Windows can be difficult to date. I have included a link below to help you decide. I was told this window came out of an old church in Detroit. It could have been brought to historic Detroit with settlers from another country. Has been in storage for the last 30 years. Beautiful glass ~ has air bubbles. Wavy, swirls ~ no damage. Shades of green and clear rectangles. Metal frame. Original turnbuckle(handle, knob) and stay(the metal strip with holes that holds the window open to the desired width) The style shows these pieces were made by a blacksmith. There is a flat piece on the turnbuckle that locks the window. On the other side of the turnbuckle is a cutout“v” that locks the window in the open position just a little bit. Stained/colored leaded glass Masonic/Judaic Architectural Detail for top of arch
Very unusual older piece. The 6-point star is common to both Masonic lodges and Judaism. The main central colored area around the star appears to be clear glass that has been mottled with the purplish paint and a brush. Nice old lap joints connect the sections of the frame where original caulking and moldings can be seen. I believe this to be the top of an arch or roof peak on the exterior of a building. 28' across x 31' high and 1 1/4' thick. Shipping weight is 8 lbs.

It's painted off white though this is chipping away. Glass panes have a ruby red diamond center surrounded with yellowish orange and pink pieces. Lantern has a door with latch. MEASUREMENTS Approx 23" long x 13" at widest. CONDITION Item shows a lot of wear including chipping paint and surface rust. The bottom glass piece is broken. The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. This is in very good condition. Especially for its age! This has leaded stain glass and jewels in this beautiful window.This has the wooden window frame around it, which is in good condition, there is paint and wear,on the paint which looks distressed and weathered paint around the wood. There are seams in the wood window casing, one of the seams is more noticeable where it was attached around the window. Its sturdy and fine, looks very cool! The leaded stain glass is gorgeous! It appears to me to be all original as when made and there are jewels in the center of the flowers and in the window! The glass looks beautiful. And well intact. I see 1 tiny spot ... moreon the glass where it could have been put in that way, or the lead was over it, or it was a tiny crack repair, its tiny or it could have been a repair. Its not noticeable, I never noticed it before. I do think there was lead over it, its a flower petal and not really noticeable till you look close. Look at the photo. Also there is a tiny sliver chip that sheared off the outer layer on a glass piece, its miniscule tiny but doesn't go thru to the other side, there is what appears to be a scratch line in a few pieces of the glass. See photos mostly really good! To look at this it looks GREAT and in very good condition! The glass is all intact. And there isn't any damage to the glass, only 2 tiny flaws, and this is all intact and gorgeous! Ready to hang! Sturdy and beautiful antique transparent glass! This is 30 x 26. 150 Beautiful Victorian Era Leaded Stained Glass "Double" Window From England
150. This auction is for a very pretty Victorian Era"Double" Leaded Stain Glass from England. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia. All of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply ... morerun your finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. The window has shades of Green. Burgandy and a Very Pale Burgandy Glass with a textured white or clear glass. There are no cracks in the glass in this window. I have one more about the same size. Colors and pattern if more are needed and there ase also some more in a different size on eBay now. THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE(1) WINDOW Overall the window is 34" wide and 16 3/4" tall overall.
