We have this beautiful vintage leaded stained glass window up for auction. The window has the original wooden frame which is dark brown in color and in excellent condition. The glass is in awesome condition with no chips or cracks and the lead is in great condition. There are 3 colored pieces of glass 2 amber(one is lighter than the other) and 1 purple the rest is clear wavy glass. The outside of the frame measures 22 1/2" by 11 3/4" and the glass measures about 18 1/4" by 7 1/2" We accept payment only thru Paypal. We only ship within the United States at this time. Huge Arched Leaded Stained Glass Window Gorgeous
This is one great stained glass window that will be pick up only unless you want to figure out how to get it to your place. I will not arrange for any shipping on this but would love to have this beauty picked up. It is heavy. As you can see by the pictures. The colors are magnificent and it is solid. This is part of a three part group that came from a prominent bank in the Midwest. Lovely item! I am selling this one because I simply do not have the room for it. It measures out at around 52 inches long at the large part and almost 43 inches high at the peak. The stained glass is in great shape. So pretty. I will add pictures of this when it is in the light. Local pick up please unless you want to make the arrangements. Caveats 1. I have at least two other people check over my items prior to listing. Stained and painted leaded glass window c. 1840, Massachusetts
Rare 19th Century Stained AND Painted Leaded Glass Window. Mass. c. 1840 Acquired by my father in 1959 in Deerfield. MA at an architectural salvage auction prior to demolition of an old property, this rare and colorful Greek Revival stained and painted leaded demi-roundel illustrates a Greek Temple in a Classic garden, c.1840(or, possibly, earlier; in any event, it is probably no later than the date of the demolished property in which it had been installed) It is held in a substantial double-glazed wooden sash(not original but useful) suitable for installation through an exterior wall(as my father did) or wall-mounting in an interior. The stained/painted area is 28" long on its base, 20" high at the peak of its arc. The sash in which it sits is 33' w by 25" high. While generally in excellent vintage condition(the photograph ... moreis fairly recent) consistent with the extreme age of this piece. One or two very short seams of its leading may need a bit of attention. I recognize"short" and"a bit of" are inexact terms but I really mean to convey"minor. So minor, in fact, that, when we removed the piece from my late father's house some years ago prior to placing it in storage, we noted what might be done and decided to leave it in its original state safely resting between two layers of glass. Stunning Vintage Leaded glass window from an old house in Detroit! The glass is set against a mirror and comes with a custom-built frame around it. The window can be hung on a wall for decoration or you can use it as a real window as well. I originally paid $3.600 for the window and custom frame. This is a stained glass window from a church in western kansas and was made in the early 1900s. The window has leaded stained slag glass. Not a single pane of glass is chipped or broken. All glass is original. As is the wooden frame. The wooden frame does have some damage around the edges. Mainly in the corners. Youll see this on the pictures. Vintage Stained/Leaded Glass Butterfly Window/Wall hanging This is a vintage stained/ leaded glass butterfly with light cotton-candy pink and deep red wings. His body is made of silver metal and the metal extends over the wings. Making a striking design against the glass. The top of the antenna and where the“eyes” would be are clear cabochon stones, and a medium-weight link chain is attached to the top. This butterfly hanging is in overall good condition; however the lower left wing section has a crack running through it. The glass does not seem to be loose and the metal design on the wing actually helps hide the crack; I have included a photo of it. It’s really not noticeable unless you are looking for it(the metal design on the glass is what catches your eye) But I wanted to make bidders aware of it.
