The center piece ... morehas an etched starburst. It can be hung either way. It has a new pine frame. It measures 38.25 inches wide by 24.25 inches tall and is 1 and 3/8 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 35.5 by 21.5. Overall it is in good condition. It could use a good cleaning. There are 3 hairlines less than an inch long. Please see the pictures carefully. ANTIQUE STAINED LEADED SLUG & TEXTURED GLASS ART WINDOW DOOR PANEL ROSES
Antique stained glass window/door panel. 24" long x 15-3/4" wide. Glass is quite thick. Yellow roses and green leaves opaque glass surface is very minimally textured. You'd have to closely scrutinize it to see it. The same applies to amber slug glass. Shading and toned streaks to colors. Evidently textured clear glass in the medallion is neither transparent nor frosted. It lets the light trough just fine. However it is blocking any clear view of objects behind it. Soldered seams. As well as the metal frame bear the sign of oxidation and patina. They are structurally sound and in very good condition. Reverse side of the metal frame has a residue of some kind, either thin putty or white paint. This panel comes from an old. Early 20th century house in Scranton. Pa. Thank you for looking. Please. Greetings! Up for sale is my lovely leaded glass window with a flower design. It measures 22.25" wide x 18" high. And has to modern hooks in the top to suspend it in your window. I'm not sure of the age, I just know I've had it for ages! There's no damage to the glass or design, and the wooden frame seems to be unfinished. At each corner there is a dark metal staple of sorts that keeps each side together, kind-of spanning the cornices if you will. They are hardly noticeable, but then if you want a detailed picture just ask because every person will have a different opinion on this. Feel free to email with other questions as well. We believe from our research that this is at least an 18 th century window ~ possibly earlier. Windows can be difficult to date. I have included a link below to help you decide. I was told this window came out of an old church in Detroit. It could have been brought to historic Detroit with settlers from another country. Has been in storage for the last 30 years. Beautiful glass ~ has air bubbles. Wavy, swirls ~ no damage. Shades of green and clear rectangles. Metal frame. Original turnbuckle(handle, knob) and stay(the metal strip with holes that holds the window open to the desired width) The style shows these pieces were made by a blacksmith. There is a flat piece on the turnbuckle that locks the window. On the other side of the turnbuckle is a cutout“v” that locks the window in the open position just a little bit. Beautiful stained(leaded) window that would make a perfect addition/accent to any home. This window was removed from a renovated home and appears to be made from plexiglass or some similar material. Whatever the material is. It's lighter than glass, more durable, and doesn't seem to scratch easily. In fact, I don't see any scratches on it. It appears to be hand made. It's is a sturdy wooden frame that can be reused or the window could be removed from the fram to fit a different sized opening. Majestic 9 pane jeweled stained leaded glass window masterpiece- Butterfly. Regretfully weather did catch up with its wood frame to a point that was completely rotten. The panels have been removed and would need to be set up in a frame before installation. I am no expert in stained glass and although I can't guarantee it I wouldn't hesitate to say this is an old piece. I am guessing at least 70/80 years, likely more but you'll be the judge. I just can tell you that not only designing such an original scene is in itself a hard to match accomplishment but the craftsman that built it has put a monstrous amount ... moreof work. This masterpiece has about 900 pieces all hand cut of which many are hand rolled glass. Then every single piece has been copper foiled and finally soldered together, without a doubt the result of many hours of detailed work. Note at the jeweled cabochon pieces of which we can find 21 of them. I have been told that these panes also could be put together as just one single piece re-barring it across the frame and it wouldn't be a very expensive work Each pane measures 20-3/8" wide by 17-7/8" High. If you set each glass next to the other as pictured it will measure 61-1/8" wide by 53-5/8" tall which is about 5ft 1-1/8" wide by 4ft 5-5/8" Because of its design I believe it could also be stand sideways making it taller and narrower see alternate picture(rotated original- see last picture) I am pretty sure that no matter how long or how hard you'll look it would be extremely difficult to find a piece of this beauty. Description: Beautiful and stunning antique stained glass leaded window in the early American jewel style. The window is leaded with colored and wavy glass and jewels and its centerpiece is what appears to be a hand-painted mural with various fruits(grapes. Cherries, banana, peach, and pear) and leaves flowing out of a vase. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that is looking for the right home for it to be enjoyed by future generations and those that appreciate early Americana. Story: The window was meticulously removed from a house in Williamsville. NY, a northeast suburb of Buffalo, during a remodeling project(see pictures showing the window before it was removed) The house was built in the mid-1960’s in the retro-style and this window clearly doesn't fit that period. The previous owners of the home were quite eccentric and had many antiques ... moreand collectibles amongst their possessions. The window remained in its original condition thanks to professional removal. Details: Size– 3’ 10” Long x 1’ 8” High(46” x 20” Age– Unknown. We spoke with the ACSG and they estimated via email between 1880 and 1900. Style– Early American Jewel Pieces– All original and intact Bonding Agent– Lead Material– Glass Colors– Gold. Yellow, purple and blue hues Condition– Good Markings/Artist Signature– None Condition: The window is in good condition given its estimated age. The window has not been cleaned professionally since it was removed from its location. It has original paint marks/splatterings around its frame from old window trim paintings(see detailed pictures) which can easily be removed. It has some dirt and grime around the edges of the lead and in the crevices(see pictures) which can also be cleaned up. There are some tiny hairline cracks in a few of the window pieces but most cannot be seen without very close inspection(see pictures) There is one piece of lead at a corner. Vintage Stained Leaded Glass Window Framed Art Deco
Framed is 16.75" x 15.5" Glass itself is 13.75" x 12.5" Glass is wavy. This is an older English piece I believe and has a newer all wood stained frame. There are eye hooks with small chain to hang in your window. You may need to have more chain. Or change the chain out with wire like a picture. First photo is taken like one would hang it in a window frame. Great colors. Condition is very good. There are NO cracks or breaks to the glass. Frame in good condition. 5 to 6 lb package weight when properly packed to make it there in one piece. I am not disparaging the US Postal Service. Only saying that this is fragile.
