THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIND AND IS AN OLD SALVAGED CHURCH STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH ... moreAN ARCHED SHAPE THAT IS ABOUT 3 1/2 FEET TALL I love the old windows. Especially the ones that come out of the old Churches, like this one. This is just incredible. It is an older window that is about 43" tall. It has a wood frame with the old white paint on the front and brown on the back. The paint is now chippy and peely for a perfect patina. It has the amazing arched window at the center with twelve colored glass panes all around it. The center has an awesome pattern that I believe like the old stencil in white. Not sure if this is considered stencil. The colored glass all around is gorgeous in different colors. The bottom glass pane on the left has some cracks or a little break, as I show in some close ups. There is only one pane with a break. There is a slight separation to the wood at the top, as I show. There is some missing window putty, but it appears solid. This is such a statement making piece that will be one of your favorite items in your own home. Don't pass it up! Great in any shabby chic, Victorian, Antique, romantic cottage or French country home. Measurements are about 43" tall by about 22" wide and 1 1/2" deep. It weighs about 12 pounds. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance of from $30.00 to the West and $55.00 to the East with UPS to the lower 48 states. If it comes out less. I will refund the difference for shipping and insurance. Round Stained Glass Leaded Window UNICORN 19" Round Wood Frame
Round stained glass window. Unicorn design. Wooden frame. 19" circumference. There are about 6 or 7 hairline cracks to the glass. They are hard to see and really don't detract. I understand there is a type of glue on the market specifically for repairing stained glass windows. In my opinion. I personally wouldn't even bother repairing as it displays well. Now there is a crack/opening in the wood frame and I don't know if this is damage or if it's how they make the round frame. During our ownership of this, we glued the opening. Just mentioning for accuracy. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. Sold as-is. In the unlikely event of a return. All shipping costs to be paid by buyer. THE WINDOW PANEL IS HANDCRAFTED WITH HAND CUT STAINED GLASS. THE WINDOW PANEL IS A REPRODUCTION OF A STAINED GLASS WINDOW FROM A SYNAGOGUE IN CENTRAL TEXAS. IT WAS MADE IN 1990 AND STILL IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. NO CHIPS OR REPAIRS. I TOOK SEVERAL PICTURES IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. THE FIRST COUPLE ARE IN FRONT OF A GLASS WINDOW. Original circa 1900-1910 Art Nouveau leaded& beveled glass window. Extremely heavy and impressive. Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove ... morepaint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. That he made showing how these windows were on the top of the train car. The train was from Pacific Electric and an Express car. Pretty cool! One side of the wood frame is white and the back brown, and the paint is now chippy, peely with paint loss and time worn for a great patina. It is an ... moreolder window. The pattern is awesome with the colored glass in green, gold and a little red. There is one small cracked pane and some grooves or scratches from the old original glass. There is a little bit of chipped wood as I show. You can display this either vertically or horizontally in your home. We can add a hanger to the back, if you want to hang it. This window is a combination of slag glass and two types of textured glass. The vivid blue on the outside is slag glass. The four purple diamonds are honeycomb glass and the clear glass is wavy. It has a solid wood frame with brass pulls. The window is 19 1/2" tall and 22 1/2" wide and is in really good condition. The only flaw is a 3 1/2" crack in the clear wavy glass in the bottom right pane. With the texture of the glass it isn't very noticeable.
