This is a really nice oak barrister bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase or stacked bookcase. This piece was manufactured by the GUNN Company. They were competitors of Macey. Globe and others. Four separate stacks with this bookcase-a graduated unit with 2 different sizes. Note the top unit has a leaded glass door. Super original finish which is smooth and even. The interior height of the units is 13 and 11. The overall size of the piece is 34 wide, 13 deep, and 57.5 high. Good functional unit in excellent condition. Antique Early Original Leaded Glass Signed Miller Boudoir Lamp Hubbell Sockets
This is a very interesting Original Leaded Glass Signed Miller Boudoir Lamp. This wonderful little lamp has great Hubbell sockets with acorn pulls. The shad is quite unique is is leaded on the outside but not inside how this was done I have no clue!It has great old glass with large factory bubbles and swirl lines and it is very beautiful. The lamps base has a green finish there are areas of finish loss but over all most all of the finish is there. The cord is not original it was changed at some point to a newer wiring but the lamp is an older Miller lamp. The lamp stands about 16" to top finial the shade is 5 1/2" tall it is 12" wide and the lamp weighs about 6.11 pounds. I see no damage on this lamp just small signs of years of normal wear. Lamb Brothers Leaded Glass Lamp Arts Crafts Nouveau Handel BH Era
This is an auction for a very nice Lamb Brothers Leaded glass lamp from the 20's or 30's. It is from a local estate and had been in the family since new. The shade has caramel or off white panels and the floiage is made up of darker panels of caramel and light green. The foliage decoration at the bottom of the shade repeats on 4 sides. I consider this one of their better shades. It is not marked. But is definitely Lamb. The lamp is in working condition and is completely original except for the vintage Arrow pulls and a recent rewire with cloth cord. It is ready to go in your home right now. I have tried to picture all issues with the lamp, and none of them detract very much from its overall beauty, but they need to be mentioned. I have pictured several panels that have cracks. There appear to be 11 total. 10 have the cracking in the ... moreglass in the lower foliage areas of the shade and one appears to be an old heat crack in the top row which is pretty typical of older lamps. The cracks at the base of the shade are all stable with no glass missing and are on two sides 180 degrees from each other. The other 2 foliage areas have no cracks. Probably it was placed on the points at one time which caused this. Again, the lamp is very presentable in light of these, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware. The base has not been cleaned, and has a couple of small spots near the plug wire entrance that would be normal wear. The shade measures 18" plus across and the lamp stands approx. 22" tall. The stock market up, and consumer confidence up as well, i thought i would list some of my better lamps that i have been holding on to for the past couple of years. this is one of them. i will be auctioning off some much better than average lighting this time around so please check out my other lighting auctions as well. that said. I have this fantastic handel desk lamp. this is a seldom seen and high quality lamp folks and not a reproduction in any way shape or form. its period 1905-1920. the shade signed, the base with original felt bottom but the handel tag is no longer. this is a well documented base so there should not be any worries there either. the shade signed on the top rim where it should be and measuring seven inches wide and four inches tall. the shade with wonderful chocolate brown patina throughout ... morethe leading and there are no loose pieces of glass to be seen as all the leading is tight and right. the coloration is very nice and you will be very hard pressed to find a better arts and crafts style desk/piano lamp anywhere especially by handel. this shade is about as good as it gets. now onto the base. same beautiful chocolate brown patina throughout and in fine working order. there is no metal fatique nor breaks anywhere and its been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord. the base needs no excuses at all similar to the shade. it meausres 12 and 1/2 inches tall at its highest point and of course is completely adjustable. this is how you want to find antique lamps folks in this condition. i am selling this lamp at no reserve as i do with all my auctions and of course there is no buyers 15-25% premium like all the auction houses are charging today so you are already ahead of the game in that respect. thanks for looking and please check out my other ebay lighting auctions as i have some great lighting up for sale. thanks again. bidders please remember that i am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that

Vintage Large Bradley& Hubbard Slag Glass Lamp. The overall height of the lamp is 29 inches. The base is 9 inches wide. The globe is 19 inches wide and 11 inches high. The globe will need to be repaired. The glass is pulled away from the metal cap where it attaches at the very top of the shade. I have made inquiries and have been told that this can be repaired. I do not have an estimate on the repair cost. The base of the lamp shows signs of wear and use and age. It is not uncommon for this type of base to have the issues that this one has. The top cap. Which sits on the top of the glass shade has been broken. The replacement parts are available for this type lamp under $50.00 The coloring is really nice. Up for auction is a Butler's Pantry or Secretary Desk dating from the period between 1810- 1820. It was made in New York City by a furniture maker named James Cook. I have to take a picture of the signatures and the maker's stamp to post them. It is from the early empire period. It is complete and in good untouched original condition with it's original finish and glass intact. It is almost 8' tall and will fit underneath most standard 8' ceilings. It has a curved removable cornice which is beautiful flame mahogany. The overall design is rather simple in keeping with the very beginning of the Empire period before the over-sized scroll detailing became a typical feature. One of the most beautiful aspects of this unusual piece are the beautiful antique diamond shaped leaded glass panels in each door. There is a panel which flips open to transform into a writing surface and it appears to have very old black felt. The wood is mahogany. Flame and crotch mahogany veneers, and solid mahogany doors and structural elements. The finish is the original shellac based french polish which shows a nice patina. This is a very pretty little lamp shade. It is leaded slag glass. It measures 3 3/4" tall all together. The black piece with the hole in the center is about 1 1/2" tall. The top of this hutch is curved and has a beveled edge and pressed wood design on the inside top edge. The front corners have been cut on angel and tiger striped veneer applied for added detail. There are 2 bevel cut leaded glass doors on top. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. The base has 2 large drawers that are dove tail design and 2 large doors that ... moreopen up to ample storage. All the doors and drawers have matching original looking ornate metal pulls. This is a magnificent piece of furniture. There is a strip of burled wood down the center of the upper and lower pieces and the front of the lower doors have burled wood on them as well as a nicely designed inlaid tiger wood strip. This piece has great patina. The veneer has bubbled and chipped in a couple of spots but its hardly noticeable. The over all condition of this piece is excellent for its age. It is a very old antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact date it was made or who the maker is. The base measures 39 inches tall, 53 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 75 pounds. The top measures 34 ½ inches tall, 49 1/8 inches side to side and 17 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 97 pounds. It is large and heavy and perfect for iced tea. Juice, or water. This old glass has a melodic ding when tapped with your knuckle. The handle has a curved brick pattern. I see various slight imperfections that look like straw marks, mostly near the 2 seams. This is typical of old glass. I do not see any identifying maker marks. Also, I do not see any chips or fractures, or cracks anywhere on this pitcher. I found this ... morefabulous item on a hunt for treasure somewhere in southwest Florida. An Art Deco period Leaded Glass Panel. Designer and maker unknown. Th is stylish design with its understated colour range relies on the quality of the lead work for its impact. A windswept girl in evening dress and fur wrap walks beneath a tree with a passing seagull. An image which is similar to ceramic designs of the period by Clarice Cliff. English. Circa 1925. Restored 8'x3' Vintage Mid Century Modern Leaded Stained Textured Glass Window
Penn Antique Restoration. 8' x 3' Vintage Mid Century Leaded Stained Glass Window. What an extraordinary find! This spectacular. One-of-a-kind, vintage window was salvaged from Southeastern Pennsylvania. It's comprised of hundreds of pieces of glass; green, blue, pink, yellow, and clear. The majority of the pieces are textured. The design is of an urn flanked by 2 swags. Notice the 2 green and blue rondelles in the center-what great accents! The sash is made of solid walnut, and is finished on both sides. At the point of salvage. 99% of the glass was intact, but the leading needed some serious reinforcement(see last photo) We brought it to our local stained glass repair shop and they did a fantastic job-as usual! The job took about 2 weeks and cost about half of the current sale price. Every piece of glass was carefully removed, ... moreand every inch of leading was examined and straightened; all joints were reinforced. When we first picked up the window. I was amazed to see that there were no vertical bars to support the weight of the leaded skeleton and glass-most likely the reason why the leading sagged as bad as it did. However, as you could see from the photos; 2 vertical stress bars have been added to the interior side to ensure that the leading will remain tight and strong for decades to come. We're actually selling the window on behalf of one of our best customers. The window was purchased. Restored, but was never installed where it was meant to go(see 2nd to last photo) The home and the project were let go. It is a lion head, claw foot, scroll carved, tiger sawn oak, leaded glass curio mirror back top sideboard, dating from the 1890s in completely stripped and refinished condition. We’ve repaired a back leg that was broken and totally restored it and replaced a panel on the side, and we’ve refinished it of course, and now this sideboard is all ready to go in the home right out of the shipping crate. It’s of tiger sawn oak, with a leaded glass china closet top, and I believe there are three panes with small cracks in them. They are very hard to see, but I wanted to mention them. The mirrored back is original on top, but the one underneath the gallery has been replaced due to silver issues. The columns have claw feet and lion heads, the base has a scroll applied, leaf carved front that scrolls down into a beautiful detailed claw foot with carved wings underneath. It has rolled front drawers that are all dovetailed, doors, and a large center drawer. The thing that is really unique on this is the hardware, which I’ve never seen before. This item is a beautiful framed leaded glass window. It is incredibly heavy. The size of the frame is 28 1/2 inches 14 1/2 inches and the actual glass is 23 inches by 10 inches. The frame is a rich dark oak. There is a hanger on the back and two(2) holes that were most likely used for a chain. I do not know anything about the window other than the fact that it is in great.
