Great piece of antique stained glass in wood frame for your buying consideration. I believe that it was a transom window above a door at one time. I recently acquired the piece at an auction. Great blue. Black, red and yellow glass in the crest and then the rest of the stained glass is an off clear white glass with leaded seams. There are no cracks in any of the panels that I observe. Some of the caulking is loose or missing. Lots of paint on that wood frame over the years as well. Some paint loss to the frame in places and peeling in others. 4 hooks have been screwed into the wood frame for hanging it for presentation purposes. The piece is 24-3/8" across. Federal style large leaded glass fanlight transom
This transom which measures 58.1/2 x18 inches is in very good condition. The glass portion is 15 3/8 x 54 The lead joints have a flower design which creates extra support as well as beauty. The wood frame has never been in the weather and has its original finish. This was part of the interior entryway of a early 1900's apartment building in Baltimore's Johns Hopkins neighborhood. The building on North Calvert Street was demolished in 1972 to make room for a Union Memorial Hospital expansion. I have owned it since then using it as door/sidelight in a art gallery setting. The door is now my home's front entry. and the transom has been a wall decoration. I will build a crate and take it to the UPS depot. If it is picked up you can deduct $30 from the final price. Art Deco Amber Slag Beveled Leaded Glass Door Transom Window Panel Pane Pair
Hello- These are a wonderful pair of antique. Vintage style windows. They are in great shape otherwise, and look almost as if they were never installed. One has one tiny chip in the corner, which could easily be caulked over. Also, the glasses have no caulking between the glass and the metal frames. All the glass should have a bead of clear caulk applied- in order to keep the glasses from rattling. The panes measure approx. 14 3/4" wide x 7 1/2" high. On each pane, one side is beveled and the other side is beveled. A great set!

Antique Victorian Old Leaded Glass 4 Ft. Transom Window c1900 Textured Glass
This is an old leaded and beveled transom window salvaged from a St. Paul. MN Victorian mansion 1900. The frame(1 1/2” thick) is painted on one side and varnished on the other. In the frame, it measures 48”w x 19”h and the measurement for the glass only is 44”w x 15 ½”h. The border of the window is glue chip glass which is a technique where they sand blast the glass first. Then“paint” it with glue, then put it into a low fired kiln so when it’s fired, it actually“rips” the glass and creates the pattern. T he foliate pattern is done in a mix of textured and glue chip glass with beveled center pieces. The lead veins are strong with no breakage or bowing and there is no damage to the glass. AWESOME door set. The glass is in perfect shape. I don't see a crack anywhere. The wood is in good shape but could use some sanding and a fresh finish. The pictures are from my garage and don't do this set justice. I didn't even clean the glass. It's a really beautiful set. All pieces have nice sturdy weight to them. This is the real deal! The hardware is all original and very cool. There has been a newer deadbolt added at some point. The door is 36x81 Side glass is 16.5x81 Top transom is 18.5x81 I will deliver on meet you within 50 miles of 41071.

This lot is for a very old window pane. The piece measures 31 7/8" L x 9 1/4" W x 5/8" D I purchased this piece at an estate sale. I have no idea where it come from- door. Window, interior transom- not sure. There are 40 triangular window panes. The piece weighs 4 1/4 pounds. The panes are not broken. But there is dirt in the corners that will need to be cleaned with a Q-tip or toothpick. The metal is a lead with a mixtures of another material. I am not sure what it is. Lead alone is very soft and pliable. This is not pliable. It does not bend and it is sturdy on its own. I will ship this piece in the middle of two pieces of wood. Most likely they were door transoms at one point before removal. They could now be used in many different ways. They measure 52” long and approx 11.5” tall. There is no wood frame around the windows. So they are flimsy/ fragile due to the softness of lead. As you can see from the pictures. Each window has cracks/ chips in some of the glass panels.
