J311. This auction is for a Beautiful Multi-Colored Leaded Stained Glass Window from England. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia. All of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply run your finger ... moreacross the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. I do have another Stained Glass Window that matches this pattern on Ebay at this time in a separate auction. It is slightly larger in size and has different color glass in center. This auction is for a Pair of Antique English Stained Glass Windows. They measure approx 20.5" by 19" in frame. Glass measures 17.5" by 15.5" without frame One window has a cracked pane in the clear glass section. Cracked pane is still tight and not coming out of lead. There are no other cracks or damage to windows. Not sure which way they hang(see pictures) Clear glass is slightly textured on 4 lower panes and heavily textured on 2 upper(or larger) panes. R322B. This auction is for a Pretty Multi-Color Leaded Stained Glass Window from England with a Protective Panel of Glass on the backside. We have seen this type several times over the years. But this is the first one we have ever seen with"textured glass" used as protective glass. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia, all of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all ... moreto find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. This window has a pretty Pale Burgandy. Green and clear white glass and a textured type of white glass added across the back. There are no cracks in the glass of this window.
