Why buy one of these old windows still in the old ugly heavy frame? Many times with rusty hinges& rotten boards still attached. We have suppliers who"reframe" authentic British antique Art Deco windows resulting in a much cleaner looking piece. It requires care& work to pull them out of the old window This particular window is stunning to look at. Not only does it have authentic art deco patterns with leaded glass it has several types of opaque patterns within it as well. It is a beautiful specimen of the time. If you like tragic stories. Here goes. Where you see one beautiful antique stained glass window with a coat of arms in it that was reclaimed from an 18th Century Manor in England there were two see the second trashed one. It sux, especially when left at an affluent friends home who decides she would like to display it in her garage window. Well the wind blew it out and do you think she would have the common decency to have it repaired? Well, you see the condition it's in. So This is a buy one get the trashed one free. It is repairable I just have no idea how much it would be. So Buyer Beware. The second one is free and if you wish to get it repaired I am sure it will be worth what these are worth. The one that is in great shape has two tiny breaks in the design. This is not uncommon for windows of this are. Is of teardrop shape in clear hand blown crown glass and stained in cranberry red. It is finely hand painted with a serene young man or boys head, his eyes closed as if sleeping and his dark curly hair surrounded by fine sun ray halo. CONDITION This gorgeous little piece is in very good condition.
