P316A. This auction is for an Unique& Pretty Older Multi-Color Leaded Stained Glass Window from England that has been reframed by the shipper. We call this type of frame a"shippers" frame. It's just an unfinished white wood that can be stained. Painted, weathered or sealed. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia, all of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all ... moreto find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply run your finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. The window has pretty Textured Green Corners on each side of the top. It also has Textured Amber, an Opauqe Pale Green Swirl and a textured type of white glass. We are the largest importer of Old Stained Glass into the USA& buy from all over England. The measurements are 16" x 8.75" Glass size& 19.5" x 12" Overall including the frame. The colors in this window are mauve. Green, red, gold, yellow& blue. most of the glass is moderately textured. The glass is in perfect condition with no cracks or breaks.
