07. This auction is for a Pretty Multi-Color Transom Style Leaded Stained Glass Window from England. We only sell vintage or older stained glass windows. We do not sell reproductions or imported windows made in Indonesia. All of our come from Great Britain or Europe. It would make a Great window for a Sunroom or as a header over a door or built into a wall sunroom. Please Read This Carefully: We only sell OLD Windows. Glass making was not perfected until around 1930. Before then a lot of glass. Especially glass made in to sheets had bubbles, waves, imperfections such as ridges or lines of separation when the glass was made. It's not unusual at all to find these in our windows, in most cases it's desirable because it validates the age of the windows. If you get a window that to you looks like a"crack" is in it, simply run ... moreyour finger across the line on both sides to"feel" the glass, if one side is smooth and the other side has a ridge or bump, it's simply an imperfection in the way the glass was made. CRACKS Can Be Felt On BOTH Sides of the Glass, you can't crack one side on a piece of glass without cracking both sides. When there is a CRACK in the Glass, We will State it in the auction text. This window has a pretty Lavender. Amber and three(3) different types of textured white glass. There are NO Cracks in the glass of this window. Up for bid is this beautiful vintage English leaded stained glass window from the early 1900's. It measures 18 1/2" X 19 1/2" including the original wood frame. FOUR different stained glass colors were used to create the different designs in the window. The orange stained glass piece in the center section at the top of the window has a marbled look. Very nice. The pale gold& green stained glass panels across the center of the window are a great accent. The leading used to separate the different shaped glass panels adds depth to the overall design. The beautiful peekaboo glass has a wavy texture.
