The original vintage cut and beveled art deco gray glass stone on this piece is of very high quality. The prong set stone is in a ribbed cone mounting. This is a very unique piece. World War 2 Seth Thomas Ship Course Clock This comes from a large estate collection I am liquidating I'm fairly sure this dates to the WWII era. It is a Mark II. Model 0, as seen on the face. The face is about 6 inches in diameter. The condition is pretty nice, and the beveled glass is in good shape. It runs intermittently when you move it around. It ran four about 4 hours yesterday sitting on my desk. Since then it starts and runs for a minute or two then stops, as I have been moving it around. I do not have a key, so I haven't wound it. I'm sure it needs at least a servicing to make it run properly. The chrome plating on the brass case has some pitting& scratches, but otherwise it looks pretty nice. Gustav Becker German Wall Clock P48H Movement Light Long Case Beveled Glass Up for auction is a complete Gustav Becker wall clock. Everything appears to be here. I can not get it to stay running though. I tried putting it at different angles on the wall to get that perfect"tick-tock" but it would only run for a few minutes longer so i am selling it as is. Needing adjustment or repair. The movement is a P48H and has this and the GB Anchor stamped on the back. The Pendulum is missing it's finish and has some denting to it. The upper glass in the door is a square piece and the lower portion is beveled. The Dial Face has several scratches and signs of wear to it but still retains the Gustav symbol. There is a coil Gong in the back. The Striking hammer was acting like it didn't want to trigger until 2 or 3 minutes after the top ... moreof the hour and the half hour. The wood case has several scuffs. Scratches, and nicks in the wood. The back has a partial GB stamp. There is a crack that goes down the back of the case. There are some scratches in the back from the pendulum sliding against the wood. The case looks to have had some touch up work done and didn't have a finish applied afterwords. There are also 2 screw on the bottom that distance the case from the wall. The case measures approx. 30 in long. 13 1/4 in. wide, and 7 in. deep. German Junghans Wurttemberg Wall Clock A21 Movement Long Wood Case Beveled Glass
German Junghans Wurttemberg Wall Clock A21 Movement Long Wood Case Beveled Glass Up for sale is a semi-working Junghans Clock. This clock appears to be complete. But will not run for more then 15-30 min. on average. When i got the clock and wound it. It would run at a very high speed. The minute hand was hardly visible it was so fast. There was a large gear that powered a smaller gear(not sure on the names as the schematic i have is not for this movement) the smaller one is made up of tiny pins that had slid down(toward the back of the movement) while being transported. I am expecting this to be a problem when i ship it, they don't look like they can slide all the way out. I gently slid them all back in place and the lager gear(powered by the main spring) began to catch and the clock would run fine for 15-30 minutes. I am pretty sure ... moreit will need some adjustment upon arrival. I am not sure the finial on top even goes with this clock. I am including it just in case it is part of the clock. There is a slot for a topper or finial on the top. The movement is marked Junghans(the star with an I or it may be a roman numeral) and then Wurttemberg A21. The movement looks to have 104 1/2 stamped in the upper left hand corner. The coiled gong block has something stamped in to it but am unable to make it out. Not sure that it was origional as there are other holes in the back. The Pendulum is a large brass color. It is scratched and worn. The dial looks to be brass or bronze and it also has scratches and wear to it. The numbers are painted on with black paint. The case has several scratches. Nicks, and scuffs on it. There is some writing on the back(pictured) The upper Glass in the door over the dial is a square piece. The lower portion is Beveled. There is dirt and residue on the glass but should all be able to be cleaned. The Clock measures approx. 27 1/4 in. tall(without finial) 12 3/4 in. wide, and 6 3/4 in. deep. Up for sale is a Beautiful Horseshoe base Crystal Inkwell with brass collar. There are a couple of flea bites on the glass. There is a small chip on the bottom corner of the inkwell. The base is real light and is covered with material. There is a metal piece attached to the base that looks like a horse shoe. Measures approx. 2 1/4 inches high with the inkwell in it. The base is approx. 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches deep across the bottom. The Crystal inkwell itself measures approx. 1 inch across the bottom and is 1 3/4 inches high. This well-loved and well-tended piece has been with us for decades; we are offering as part of downsizing for retirement. It is a visually stunning and intricate piece. But has seen use and wear which is apparent to the critical eye(see pictures for the most major flaws) This is a hand-carved two-part sideboard(gallery and base) Circa 1870. A lion-motif pediment was added to the top of the mirrored gallery. Barley-twist column supports flank a 3-section vitrine of beveled mirror and glass. The mirror and glass is original and in excellent condition. Underneath the gallery is an open area with double-turned column supports. The gallery is set upon a single base of carved oak possessing 3 rectangular drawers(the centermost is partitioned inside for holding silverware) and 3 paneled cabinet doors. Plus one long rectangular drawer along the base. ... moreThe drawers flanked by barley rope twist columns; the drawers themselves possess decorative carvings and possess their original brass bail handles with embossed heads in relief. All drawers and cabinets can be open/shut easily(pictures available upon request) Parts of the original brass fixtures have been lost from the cabinet doors and the joins between the gallery column supports and the base of the gallery have lost their original façade decoration and cracked slightly open. Maintaining the original finish requires applying lemon oil 1-2 times a year. Drawers slide smoothly provided the runners are rubbed 1-2 times a year with a bar of hard soap. The door has a solid wood core covered with(1/4" thick wooden veneers, has 4 beveled glass lites and 2 recessed panels. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Both of the ... morepanels are warped and cracked; the lock housing, bottoms of the lock and hinge stiles and the rail below the glass lites are all cracked; and the edge of the lock stile is chipped. On the interior side of the door. The veneer on the bottoms of the hinge and lock stiles are cracked; there is a piece of veneer on the bottom rail that is broken off; and the top and bottom of the hinge stile, a piece of molding next to the glass lites and the edge of the lock housing are all chipped. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. This an excellent pair of true antique(late 1800s- early 1900s) carriage lamps with the original brackets. They are all in brass and have a very beautiful patina. The rounded beveled glasses are very thick. Clearly hand made, all original. They are 17 1/2 inches tall Originally oil lamps. They have been electrified for your convenience, with a discrete hole in the back(as seen in the photos) Attention: 1- These lamps have very small dents and period welding repairs as you can see in photos but they're about 100+ years old. Antique Marble Top Dresser Chest Beveled Mirror Oak
Being offered here is a vintage three drawer dresser with exquisite architectural lines and hardware. Please view pictures for details. We are not sure if the wood is walnut or oak. The overall height of this chest measures 66 ½" tall and overall 38 3/8" wide. The marble top measures 17 ½" deep and is 38 3/8" wide. The dresser is 17" deep and 36 ½" wide. The beveled glass on the mirror measures 29 ½" wide and 23 ½" tall. The wheels make this furniture stand 2" off of the floor. One of the knots in the wood on the backside has a whole in it. We did not notice any cracks in the wood on this chest. It has wonderfully old patina and the brass hardware is stunning on the burl finish of the dovetailed drawers. VINTAGE 'GENYK' METAL BATHROOM WALL CABINET. BEVELED MIRROR. RETRO INDUSTRIAL
Original'Genyk' metal bathroom wall cabinet with beveled mirror door. Made in England by Genyk who patented their bathroom cabinet design in the late 1920s. Hand-stripped of paint back to the bare metal. The inside has been painted with Farrow and Ball eggshell in‘Hardwicke White’ actually a vintage pale grey colour) so is clean and ready for immediate use. The cabinet still has its original snazzy-red plastic door-pull– from the days when plastic was an innovative and expensive new material. Original catch works well. On the back of the door is a toothbrush rack. 14 inches/36cm high. 12 inches/30cm wide and 5 inches/13cm deep. As one would expect. There are plenty of blemishes and some minor rust marks here and there, all adding to the vintage patina. The carriage moves easily and the keys are not sticking. It is indexing. Backspacing, tabbing, spacing, shifting and the ribbon is lifting as well as driving. The four beveled glass panels are clear. Antique Square Kerosene Lamp Carriage- Buggy- Old Automobile Patented May 28. 1912(Written on Brass Panel next to Beveled Glass) 4-sided: 2 with beveled glass + 2 metal one with red round diamond shape glass and one to attach to vehicle with number 12535 on it. Measures 10.5" high by 5.5" wide by 7" wide on side that attaches. Red glass diamond shape on one pane. Condition is as you see in photos. While I wiped off outside. It could use a good cleaning especially inside which has soiling. There are scratches in the glass and some cracks in corners as you see in photos, although please keep in mind that this is the original beveled glass which is a plus. Glass has what looks to me like a brass surround screwed in then is attached to black painted metal. Side with red glass opens to reveal the kerosene burner inside. I have not ... moretried this to see if it burns, so please understand you are buying this item as is, as was found. It has age and use wear which I think adds to its charm. This stained glass panel was made in the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. The center of the piece is a five piece bevel that is surrounded by blue/purple varigated glass. Then framed in ice glass and then bevels. The piece measures 17 1/2" x 12 1/2" and be be hung from any orientation as the piece has four hooks. This is a beautiful open compote in the pattern. As we know it, Beveled Diamond and Star. The original name of the pattern was Tarentum’s Albany and it is also known as Diamond Prisms. It was made by the Tarentum Glass Co. of Tarentum. PA circa 1894. This compote is 7 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall. The cupped foot is 4 inches in diameter. You are bidding on a vintage metal medical cabinet. It is made of heavy gauge steel with a beveled glass door and beveled glass sides. Great looking Cabinet with a vintage patina. It would look great in any home, office, game room or man cave. Painted and dark gray with slight green tint. The gray paint is very old with a nice patina, but I think originally this cabinet was painted white. It has some wear and tear with stretches chips, and some small dings and dents. The feet(base) ha ve some rust but it is still very solid. NO key for the lock on the upper door. There was a small hole in the top that has been filled(possibly for a wire for a light) There is a small hole in the back upper left corner. But not very notic e able. The cabinet has a metal/ beveled glass front door with beveled glass sides. Inside there are 4 glass shelves. The ... morelower portion has 6 pull out drawers. The handles and hinges all appear to be original. Penn Antique Restoration. 32"x 79" Antique Exterior Pine Door w/ 1 Large Beveled Glass Lite& Applied Molding. Strong. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid pine, has 1 large beveled glass lite and has applied molding on the interior side. The beveled glass lite installed has a small chip in one of the bottom corners. Instead of replacing the entire glass. We can have some molding cover it and keep it hidden. If not. We can order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it, Email us for a quote. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds ... moreof years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. Condition: On the exterior side of the door. Some of the molding around the glass is missing, cracked and replaced and the bottom rail is also cracked; the edge of the lock stile, top of the hinge stile, bottom rail, bottoms of the lock and hinge stiles, middle hinge mortise, and the edge of the hinge stile are all chipped. On the interior side of the door. The top hinge mortise and the edge of the lock stile are both chipped; some molding around the window is loose and cracked and the bottom rail is chipped and cracked; and there is a break in the bottom of the hinge stile. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. The door has a solid red oak core covered with(1/4" thick red oak veneers and has a beautiful assortment of 9 beveled glass lites that really add a beautiful look to the door. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The bottom rail, the top of the hinge stile and the dead bolt hole are all chipped; there is a crack in the top of the lock stile; the top 3 glass lites are all missing some pieces of molding; there is a piece of wood missing from the edge of the lock stile; and the bottom panel is slightly warped. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Antique oak ~ Larkin Medicine Cabinet with Beveled Mirror FREE 48 state Shipping
Here is a great Larkin medicine cabinet soild oak with beveled mirror& fancy brass pull. this is 26 1/4" tall x 16 3/4" wide x 7 1/2" deep. so a large size with lots of storage& usefull cubby hole type sheves. the beveled mirror is a little cloudy but still has good reflection for age. I think this was refinished a long time ago as shows some age. there is a crack at the top back near the hanger hook. Larkin sold house hold supplies from soap to clothes, buyers would collect stamps to use towards the Larkin furniture catalog to buy at reduce cost or get free with enough coupons items like this. the original S&H green stamps.
