Staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. The irregular dovetails on the drawer appear to be handmade and might indicate that the piece dates back to the 19 th century. Prior to mass production of furniture. The square nails on the bottom of the drawer are also an indicator of this time period. It is possible that this piece was the bottom half of a larger, two-piece unit. This window was recently made in my studio in Portland. Oregon.It features a French crackle glass in the background, with a beautiful bevel cluster in the center. The border band of bevels are 1 1/2"x3" with 1 1/2x 1 1/2" corners. 1905 Original Vintage Antique Wooden Bathroom Medicine Cabinet Beveled Mirror
Up for sale is an Original Vintage Beveled Glass Mirror Wooden Medicine Cabinet in great condition that I took out of my house that was buildt in 1905. I believe it was the original cabinet in the house when buildt in 1905. Look at the sawtooth shelf brackets inside, that is defenitly turn of the century craftsmanship that is never seen since. I left it in its original condition, it looks like it has had a few coats of paint over the years, it has a few chips and scratches on it so before i'd use it i'd probably put one more coat on it, but I left it as I found to be at the new owners discresion as to what he would want to do with it. The beveled glass mirror has that typical beutiful old mirror patina that cannot be duplicated, that makes it perfect for you old house bathroom,the right upper corner(shown in one of the photos) has ... morea little typical black streaking in the glass. You are looking at a pair of antique oak leaded/beveled glass cabinet doors. They have their original finish on them. They are in good condition. There are a few minor scratches in the finish. But nothing major at all. The glass is sturdy and there are no breaks. There are 24 pieces of flat glass and 3 bevels in each door. This pair includes brass latches. It also includes hinges. They are not painted, they have their original finish on them. They are in good condition. A few minor scratches in the finish, but nothing major at all. The glass is sturdy and there are no breaks. This is a wood oval beveled glass entry door. I measures 31 3/4" x 78 1/2" x 1 3/4" It has a 1 1/4" oval beveled glass window. It is painted on the exterior side and has never been stained or painted on the interior. It is in good overall condition with typical dings for its age. It does not come with hardware. The hardware is being sold in a separate auction. The door was originally set installed with surface hinges and has a right hand swing. This is a beautiful. Rare and vintage, blue and clear uranium/manganese glass inkwell with a brass metal hinge. Measures approximately 2.25 in. in width and length X 2.75 in. tall. Features beveled edges around the base and has a beautiful pyramidal shaped blue glass top. I think the blue color was obtained by adding trace amounts of manganese or uranium to the glass. The piece is in overall good condition; displaying what I consider normal wear for the age. The base has typical glass age wear abraision to the bottom side, and the underside corners of the pyramidal top have several small chips, the largest being on the top left corner. Large lot of misc. architectural pieces. Circa 19th century. All have deeply bevelled. Recessed panels. There are 2 matched pairs and 2 individuals. One individual has bottom trim and ornate see-through fretwork. The other single has top and bottom trim with carved center crest. They all have gothic flair. May be made of walnut, but not positive. Winner gets all 6 Victorian pieces shown. For size reference, the panel at lower left measures 19 5/8 inches wide and 15 1/4 inches tall and upper left measures 21 3/8 inches by 8 1/2 inches. The patina/finish on these are wonderful. One panel shows a knot on one end and crack on other end. All others are in near mint condition. Many other carved architectural antiques listed.
