Six engraved bevels purchased from an antique shop are the focal point to this one of a kind contemporary! Multiple shades of red. Blue, green, teal and purple surround the bevels and a band of black runs a border around the colors. A beveled border completes the panel! The panel measures approx. 24 1/2" by 13 1/2" and can be hung in either a horizontal or vertical directions as shown in the pictures. NOTE: I continue to get letters of appreciation for signing and dating each panel I make and feel honored that you have considered my work worthy of a signature. So. I will be continuing to do so for every window panel I create. I have polished the solder seams with a black patina finish to really bring out the beauty of the colors and waxed the entire piece. My glass pieces can last a lifetime and can easily be cleaned when needed with a plain dish detergent. After cleaning you may want to reapply a coat of most any brand of auto polish to retain the original shine. Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove paint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. Very feminie Vintage Hand Held Double Sided Mirror. Brass rim and part of the handle. I believe the handle is made of acrylic or other hard VERY CLEAR plastic. The mirror is beveled glass. On the bottom of one side. There are a few'streaks' maybe from age? No chips in the glass. I did not polish the brass. The aging of it is rather nice. Mirror measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Antique beveled mirror, shabby frame, painted. Great piece.
This mirror I love. The antique beveled glass is a plus and I love the frame. The frame is painted a green color with some other colors but its so casually done with the look of just putting some paint on roughly. I think the design in the corners is missing a piece or two but that just adds to it. It could be considered primitive or definitely shabby. Its heavy and measures 13 1/2 wide and 19 1/2 high. I just purchased at a estate sale and should keep it for myself but I'm letting it go as I have enough. You know how that is. Great mirror hope you like it, nice gift. A nickel plated brass frame, a metal backing with the correct fasteners and heavy eyelets to fasten to the wall. It has rounded corners too. It measures 18 7/8" wide x 13 1/8" high( not including eyelet hangers) It is in very good condition. There are some small areas of spots under the glass( as mirrors have) but nothing too disrupting.Nice solid vintage mirror. Brasscrafters I'm not sure so it's being offered with NO RESERVE. A delicate compact with engraving on the front. And Polish silver marks. This compact appears unused. And features a richly beveled mirror, and an art deco look. It is silver, marked.875 or 87 1/2 percent silver, the rest being an alloy. Sterling is 92 1/2 percent silver, with the rest as alloys. Many European countries use other standards of silver than the sterling standard, which was established in England. In the late 18th Century. Polish lands were divided between the then superpowers of Austria, Russia, and Prussia. Hallmarking during this period fell to the systems of the ruling empires. Following world war one, an independant State of Poland came into existence after 123 years of occupation. Poland established its own hallmarking criteria in 1920. Up for bid is an antique wood mantle with a beveled oval mirror and chains. The dimensions for the wood shelf are 48 1/4" long. 6 7/8" deep and 1 3/8" thick. The mirror is 39 1/4" x 17 1/2" The wood has a thick veneer-it has a deep grain like oak but it is not oak-maybe ash. No chipped veneer or deep gouges, no scratches, no stains; looks very well taken care of. The bottom of the shelf looks exactly like the top-condition, stain, and finish. Great antique victorian ornate cast iron beveled glass mirror
Beautiful ornate scrolled victorian cast iron mirror with beveled glass. With darkened gold color. Stands about 13 inches tall by about 9 inches wide. Has a beautiful scrolled easel stand. The back of the mirror has a metal plate that is held on with four swivel bars- the bottom one is stuck in the open position down inbetween the frame and the back- I did not attempt to move it. Stamped on the top back I think with the number 1040- hard to read, for a makers mark. Only flaw is a chip on the mirror on the lower left bevel, which doesn't affect the clarity of the mirror, which has some light surface scratches due to age and wear, and I see only a little discoloration/silver loss on the lower right beveled edge, and some tiny spots here and there. Really pretty example of an old victorian mirror in nice shape for its age, with fancy easel ... morestand. Please ask any other questions. Vintage ornate guilloche beveled mirror & brush set w/ lady portraits - vanity
Vintage mirror& brush set Th is wonderful set is in good condition for age and use. The beveled glass has no chips or cracks that I could find- there are some small black dots scattered about. The guilloche enamel is also in good condition- nice light powdery blue or silvery blue. Handle s are ornate- set looks to be gilted or gold plated and there is wear to that mostly on the handles from use. The center of each piece has a port rait of a lady- they look to be hand painted. But not sure. Seems like there is convex glass over each port rait. Both pieces need a little cleaning and the mirror is quite heavy. Mirror is about 14" long x 4 1/2" wide and brush is a bout 10" long x 3" wide. Both pieces are signed Apollo. Stained Glass Jewelry Box with Beveled Rose Patterned Lid, Brass Frame
This pretty Glass box is 8 1/2" by 6 1/2" and is 3 1/2" deep. It is made of pressed glass sides with a diamond of beveled glass with a stained rose in the center of the lid. The bottom is made of a piece of mirrored glass and the whole thing is framed of brass colored metal. It was made in Taiwan and is somewhat flimsy of construction as is evidenced by the repair made to one of the top corners. That being said. It is still a very pretty box that would be a useful box for holding letters and knick-knacks.
