Beautiful 19th Century Beveled Glass Antique Oak Smoking Cabinet Up for auction is a b eautiful turn-of-the-century English smoking cabinet. This table-top model(or for your shelf) is made of honey finish quarter sawn oak. It features a beveled glass door. Interior drawers with all brass fixtures: fancy drawer pulls, hinges, lock cover and tobacco scoops. There is also a pipe rack; high along the rear wall which will hold seven of your finest pipes. The interior shelf holds a Rockingham glazed porcelain tobacco jar with its matching lid. The brass scoops and porcelain jar rest on antique velvet covered indents for them. There are letters, a name or number stamped on the drawer frame front, matching the bottom of the cabinet, but I cannot make it out. There is no key. The cabinet measures approximately 17-3/8 inches in overall height; 8 inches ... moredeep, 11-1/2 inches wide including baseboard. Victorian Curved Front Corner Walnut China Cabinet with individual beveled glass
We have a nice lot of antique furniture that has come into our shop from two different customers. They are great pieces and have some super history. This china cabinet is one of the prettiest I have seen. It is made of a good quality walnut. It stands about 78 inches high and is made to sit in a corner. The front is curved with double opening centered doors. Each panel of glass is an individual piece of beveled glass(some of these are a little loose so you would want to reset them once purchased) All are perfect with no chips. Cracks or breaks. There are four shelves(plus bottom of cabinet) all of wood. This belonged to our customer's great aunt and was well cared for. We are selling this for pickup only. I looked at doors on other Victorian cabinets and made this using the same style construction that they had used. This door will fit a 14 1/2" x 10 1/2" opening. It is 3/4" thick. It is made of poplar wood as this is a good wood for painted furniture. The door has beveled plate glass and the hardware is solid brass. There is nothing wrong with this door. Late 1800's Curly Maple Woman's Victorian Dresser with Oval Beveled Mirrors
This beautiful dresser is in servicable condition. Original beveled mirrors intact. No cracks. Center mirror swivels vertically. It is believed that the drawer hardware is original. It does not appear that it was ever refinished and therefore has a lovely patina. There are some scratches, slight warpage and small imperfections on the top surface. I bought this 35 years ago and at the time the maker's name and'1896' was faintly handwritten on the back. But the lettering has disappeared over time. Thi s is a beautiful and heavy art de co beveled and scalloped edged mirror. It came from the home of a woman in her 80's and is in great shape. It has a wonderful frost-like design under the glass. This is not etched into the glass but is underneath the g lass. There are t wo probably brass plated buttons on the glass. Th a t merge into the design. As you can see. The two buttons are not fixed, but spin on whatever hardware attach es it to the mirror. There are no cracks in the g lass. T he onl y flaws are the several dark specks of missing sil ver under the glass. That you can see in the p hotog ra phs. Pictures 6-8 are taken with a light bulb on. So the color is a little off. Early 20th C Ornate Brass Beveled Vanity Wall Mirror & Towel Rod Holder 9" x 14"
Item No. 7911 WE DEEM THIS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ITEMS FOR STYLE AND VALUE. THIS IS AN OLD. PREVIOUSLY-OWNED ITEM. as such, it has wear from use and age, primarily oxidation to the metal including some darkening, some original finish losses like protective coatings, and some verdigris(primarily on the ends, but scattered throughout- please examine the photos for the scattered green) a little wood loss to the backing. Early 20th Century ORNATE OPENWORK BRASS WALL MIRROR with TOWEL ROD. Or towel holder. The pattern on this heavy piece is just lovely- consisting of acanthus leaves in several different patterns, hanging, twising, scrolling, wrapping- and a few grapes, other leaves with tiny berries, roped acanthus leaves around the mirror, with a center apex stylized to resemble a crown and shield. The oval mirror has a wide, smooth bevel and is ... morein good shape with a little darkening, but no apparent silvering losses. We find no marks, but suggest the piece might be French in origin. This was hung by screws utilizing the two holes for that purpose in the lower portion. And one screw on either side of the top center shield area. It was quite secure. You might also have your local framer attach a hanging wire to the back for a more simple method of hanging. About 9" tall at the center. 2" tall on the rod sides, 14" widest, mirror is 8-1/4" x 4-1/2" and the width of the mirror extends to 11-1/4" at the decorative posts on the sides. Two vintage beveled wall mirrors in wood (walnut?) Victorian?
Two Uncommon vintage round mirrors/wood surround and back. Walnut? Unknown age. These mirrors were originally purchased at auction in 1980's. There were 3 of them and they were chained together at edges to form a triangle of mirrors. Tiny holes evident along edges. One of the mirrors was in quite bad shape and pieces of chain missing. I removed them from each other and hung the remaining two with wire. Origin and original use unknown. But may have been used in an early victorian parlor. The glass reflects images well, although there are small areas where silver is worn and both have some smokiness from age especially in direct light as they are very old. I had them hung in a long hallway on either side of a small painting for interest and balance. They measure 7 3/4" in diameter and 1/2" deep.

The ladies desk is made of quartered sawed oak through out and carved on the front slant drop down lid and top beveled mirror. The desk was found in this clean Golden Oak finish and probably was refinished about 10 to 20 years ago. It appears that it was painted red at one time as there is red residue left on the inside of the drawers but not much. The desk has a beautiful Golden Oak finish and can be proudly used in your home. There is a small repair above the right inside hinge inside the desk with oak colored wood filler to cover old screw holes it appears but ... morenot very noticeable at not at all from the outside only on the interior. The pigeon hole interior is original with two small drawers with a locking drawer on the right side. The main drawer is completely dovetailed as well. It has the original beveled mirror and all other parts as the desk is in original condition besides it being refinished. The desk is 49 3/4" or 4 ft. 1 3/4" tall. 28 1/4" wide x 13"deep for the writing surface, 15 7/8" x 26 5/8" inside pigeon hole area, 28 5/8" x 9 3/8" for the mirror frame, 9 1/4" x 29 1/2" for the top shelf area, and 21 3/8" leg room up to the bottom of the drawer. The writing surface drop down lid measures 29 1/2" x 13 7/8" The pigeon hole interior is 14" deep x 27 3/4" wide x 12" high. There is 23 1/4" leg room underneath the bottom drawer. Pattern is nice and has a definite Deco feel to it.The base has a sharply beveled edge as is often seen on the nicer quality vintage glass. Hopefully the pictures captured the shade of green well enough.It's just gorgeous. Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of. I have noticed a couple of fleabites to the raised areas of the design and the corners of the base. Only visible under close inspection but I prefer to make note. Antique Pair Leaded Beveled Glass Window Framed Crest Design Vinitage Lot of 2
This is a pair of vintage leaded glass windows. I am not sure the age or history but they have been used for a number of years. And are still in good condition as you can see in the pictures. The glass around the crest is beveled and the center piece has a texture to make it somewhat opaque and colored. I have showed both sides of the units and the various remaining paint colors that are on the frames. The one window to the left does have a crack in one pane of the glass shown up close in the very last picture. Both windows are about 26" wide 25 1/4" high and 1 3/8" deep. I will be listing some other leaded glass windows shortly- some are different sizes but have the same crest and I have a couple other designs so feel free to contact me and check my other auctions.

Description This is a nice antique window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. I am unsure of the age- between 50 and 100 years. All of the border pieces are beveled. The frame is not antique. It can be hing either way. It measures 21.75 inches wide by 51.75 inches tall and is 1 inch thick. The glass only is approx. 18 x 48. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple tight hairlines and some paint on the glass. Please look at the pictures carefully. I have for bid an Antique Victorian Brass& Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Jewelry Display Casket. It measures 9 1/2" side to side. 6 1/2" front to back and 4 7/8" tall. It has beautiful Ornate Floral Brass Filigree with Large Tulip Flowers on each end. There are 5 Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Panels, the pictures make the tint look dark Amber because of the flash, they are actually a lighter Amber Color in person. It has a tan cushion bottom that is in pretty nice condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the brass is in excellent condition, hinged lid is working fine. Lacy patterned bevels and delicate dichroic bevels. The dichroic bevels are a fairly new process. These colorful bevels have a special metallic overlay that changes colors from orange to gold, to blue to pink to purple depending on your angle of viewing and the position of light.
