This is a new 13" x 17" contemporary and beautiful stained glass window art. Colors are very soft and subtle! Brown. Ivory, amber and red! Picture doesn't do this one justice! Panel finish is silver. These stained glass panels are handmade by me. It will be a lovely addition to enhance any room! The outer border is in beveled glass that will reflect many colorful prisms in the sunlight! This panel will last for many, many years! This panel can also be hung either vertically or horizontally. This panel is handmade by me! This is real stained glass using the tiffany copper foil method* This is a very nice piece! It has a bordered finished with zinc came. It has eye hooks on the back for hanging with chain. Original Stained & Beveled Glass Easter Cross and Dove
I have been working in stained glass for over 20 years and sell my pieces locally. With Easter just around the corner some of my customers requested I make some items for Easter gifts. This little cross is about 7" x 4" and made from 1.5" clear bevels with a whispy yellow sun in the background. And a white dove in the foreground. It's done in the Tiffany copper foil method, and finished with wax to a bright polish, and has a silver loop for hanging. It's a beautiful gift for a special Easter basket. It's a really old triptysh used for shaving. Everything is original on this metal framed folding mirror, including a rare handle built on and very well fix ed. On the back of each mirror there's a lincrusta paper who look like leather. It's an art nouveau decoration with an embossed Lincrusta floral motif. However there's a color variation on each of the embossed coverings. When I was about 19 living on my own my mom had a yard sale and I stopped by her house and saw that she was selling this mirror(this was like 26 years ago! and I grabbed it and was like"What the heck mom! you can't sell this mirror, it's been in my life for most of my life! Gilded brass coat hooks and lift top seat with storage below. It has applied carvings at the crest, surrounding the top hooks, on the back, under the arms and at the bottom center on the seat skirt. The manufacturer is unidentified. Measurements: Height: 79� overall Width: 38-1/2� at base(widest points) Depth: 17-3/4� overall� Top of Seat From Floor: 17-1/2� Lift-top of Seat: 22-1/2� x 13� It is being offered as we found it. It has had 3 screws recently added to the arms(one on one side. Two on the other side) and one in the base. Two old chips on back of one arm are present(see picture number 13) but is fairly insignificant as they have developed a matching patina and it adds a little character and testament to its age. The mirror appears to be original and never been re-silvered. It isn’t perfect. It shows some streaking and specks, but considering age it isn’t bad. The hall tree retains it’s original finish which is in very nice condition and shows only very minor wear considering age. Other than the added screws mentioned above. It is completely original. Vintage Ormolu Filigree Beveled Glass Jewelry Casket Box Very Nice!
In gilt filigree and heavy beveled glass is this quality made jewelry casket from the mid-20 th century or earlier. Triangular in shape and sitting on three feet. It has floral repousse work all around and a thickly padded velvet interior. The lid is gilt surrounded beveled glass. The bottom is solidly backed in gilt metal which is unusual for boxes of this type. The back hinge is broad, and has a catch piece on it to prevent the lid from falling backward when opened. A stylized floral crown piece forms the repousse latch. The size is 5" wide on hinged side. 4" deep front to back, 2-3/4" tall. In very good condition: the ormolu filigree has some patina. But not overly so, and it is not verdigri’ed. No breaks, cracks or bends in the metal that I could see. The glass is clear and unblemished. The interior plush is slightly soiled. ... moreit looks as if this is tarnish from jewelry, but otherwise in good shape. I have done nothing to clean this except give it a quick dusting with a brush. Antique Oak Hall Tree w. Beveled Mirror, circa 1900
This is a very unusual hall tree. I have never seen one quite like it. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected to back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well.
