Made of very thick glass. The beveled glass is designed in a stylized tulip pattern and reflects glints of rainbow colors at the edges in a most beautiful way! which is nearly impossible to photograph) It has a great"look" but does have some significant condition issues. The glass has one area where there is a cluster of multi-cracks. and there are several places where there are very scratched sections on the superficial surface of the glass(seems like someone rubbed back and forth with a knife blade at one time? ~perhaps trying to remove paint?a small area of push to the leading near the bottom(barely noticeable at all) the wooden frame is kinda funky in places. Has some old hanging loops embedded into the top for hanging by chains in a larger window. Antique Church Stained Glass WIndow- 9 Feet Tall Consolatrix Afflictorum- circa 19th century At the end of the 19th century Buffalo. New York's St. Joseph's Cathedral was being built. A large assemblage of stained glass were created for it by Franz Mayer and Company of Munich, Germany. The stained glass installation was completed in 1913. The cathedral was demolished in 1976 due to structural problems. This is one of the pieces from the cathedral. It's from the collection of John Leuthold of Los Angeles. Amazing artistry. Early antique cast iron Babcock window lock with spring loaded decorative iron push button. One of the earliest window locks/stops developed. Circa 1840. The threaded barrel mounts directly into the side of the window frame. The window sash is then notched allowing the window to be stopped wherever there is a notch. The spring loaded arm with a flower decoration moves in and out to release or latch the window in place. Description This is nice piece that was salvaged from a New Jersey Home. It has a yellow background with a gold fleur de lis and 2 orange jewels. It is in a new oak frame that is unpainted. It measures 22.25 inches wide by 46.5 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is approx. 18 x 42. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. It looks like it was repaired at some point. There is some glass that doesn't match perfectly. There are a couple of tight hairlines. Please see the pictures carefully. This beautiful old window IS STILL IN THE SUBSTANTIAL original frame. It was removed from a LARGE TOWN HOUSE IN LONDON during refurbishement. The glass is of a heavy and deep texture and has no crackS or chips Beautiful hand painted panels adorn the background this is a piece of immense beauty and value. It is an attribute of this heavy old glass to collect and softly diffuse the colours of the light falling upon it. The hand painted LARK in the central medallion is crisp& bright with NO sign of fading. A true work of art. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. The glass has an arched top within a rectangular frame. The border is gold and has a clear distorted background. It has blue. Purple, pink and brown. There are 5 fascet cut jewels. It is in it's original frame which is in good shape and is painted on both sides. It measures 28.5 inches wide by 29.5 inches tall and are 1.5 thick. The glass only is 24 wide by 26 tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There is some paint on the glass and a bow at one side. Several tight hairlines are in the border and one in the background. The glazing putty needs filled in. Please see the pictures carefully. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a New Jersey Victorian Home. It has nice design and colors. It is a double hung set. Upper and lower. There are 2 facet cut jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. It is in the original frame which is painted on both sides. The upper measure 24 wide by 23 tall and 1.5 inches thick. The lower measures 24 wide by 24.5 inches tall and is 1.5 thick. Each piece of glass is approx. 20 by 20. Overall it is in very good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. Description This is a piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. I believe it was originally part of a larger window. It has painted kiln fired columns at the sides with a Gothic Arch at the top. The background is purple with branches. Leaves, and clusters of fascet cut jewels. Nice looking window. It is sporting a new oak frame. It measures 24.5 inches wide. 25.25 inches tall and is 1.5 inches thick. Overall. It is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.
