Location: Saugerties, United States These pieces of old stained glass were found in the basement of a local Welsh Church that was closing down. Church was built in the 1860s. These are pieces ... morethat I would assume were from one of their many stained glass windows. Though unsure of exact age(as I'm no expert) These have to be pretty old. Surfaces are not 100% smooth(unevenness present) and have wavy lines and marks in the composition. I tried to show this in the pics. These were found with old tape wrapped around them in a stack. Some tape and tape residue is still stuck in areas. Tape therefore is not because of damage, just because of the way they were stored. Pieces were used at one time as there is paint residue in areas along with window putty present. Pieces are in various shapes, sizes and conditions. Pieces range from 1 1/4" x 4 1/2" to about 3" x 8" Colors are blue, darker blue/ green(aqua) green and red. You can see how many(and which ones) pieces of each color are present. Your bid is for the entire lot. Check out all pics before determining your bid. Selling in as is/ as found condition. $8.50 US well packaged economy s/h.

The stained ... moreglass is hand painted stencils. It is in old heavy wood and has the two hinges still on the side. There is a small cracks in the little red glass under the circle. The bottom right hand corner rectangle is missing the small piece of glass. The entire glass is pretty solid and has a slight bow to it. Which I assume has been like that for years. The owner states the dealers tell him the red glass is the most valuable of all the glass. It measures 23 5/8" wide x 35" tall x 1.75" thick. I am selling a similar one on Ebay from the same church. This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Upstate New York Victorian Home/Church It has great colors and a nice design. one panel shown in pics is cracked and has tape on it. It is in the original frame which is in good shape and is painted on both sides. Needs repainting. The window measures approx. 25" tall and 24"wide and 2" thick. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The glazing putty needs touched up around the edges. Please look at the pictures carefully. Antique 1800s German Vtg Church Stained Glass Window Figural Architectural
This old church stained glass window belonged to a friend whose father was a German historian who had a collection of antique items displayed in his home. This was part of his collection. I do not know the exact age. But it is believed to date from the 1800s. The stained glass window measures 17 1/4" by 15 3/4" The glass is very thick and held together with thick solder that was hand done. It is also hand etched and painted. It is a very beautiful piece. The picture appears to be of a soldier or shepherd standing next to an animal that looks to be half sheep and half goat, but with antlers that encase a crucifix. I would welcome any information beyond what I have. If you know something about this piece, please let me know! Condition is very good for its age. Antique 1898 stained glass window. Figure of Christ with the text"Come Unto Me" at his feet. Window was salvaged from a Universalist Church in Iowa that was built in the late 1860s. The windows in the church were installed in 1898, and this window dates from this installation. Jesus' s face, hands, feet and robes were hand painted and kiln fired, he has deep, expressive eyes. Finely detailed window, the colors are bright and rich, blue background, red robes and colorful tiled floor add to the charm. Window measures 36" wide x 59" tall without the frame. Frame is not original, frame measures 41" wide x 64-1/2" tall. Winxow has been gently restored, all joints have been resoldered and the new oak frame adds strength and stability. Antique Leaded Stained Glass Lancet Window Rooster Amethyst Gold Gothic Church
This auction is for a simple but beautiful leaded stained glass window in the lancet form with a rooster at the center. The bulk of the window is done in amethyst purple glass diamond panes with a golden yellow rooster in a circle at the center. The glass has been placed into a custom-made contemporary wood frame and apart from some striations which look natural is in very good condition for its age and delicacy. All original glass is present. There are no cracks or chips that I could find, the leaded joints are clean and firm and there is no warping in the steepled frame. Measures approximately 48" tall and 20" wide. Due to the size and fragility of this window. I am only offering it for local pick-up, but may be able to meet buyers within a reasonable distance.

Antique Mid 1800's Large Stained Glass Church Window Measures: 119 1/4" long x 40 3/4" wide with frame Inside frame measures: 112 1/2" x 35 1/4" Solid original wood frame is 1 3/4" thick There are 2 small chips and a small amount of missing glass in 1 pane and some areas with cracks There are 7 support bars on the back side which tie to the glass Some soft spots in wood frame and a few missing slivers of wood I have many more photos of this window. Please ask if you would like to see them The upper section of this window does swing open The history of this window dates to a FREE METHODIST CHURCH built in 1864 in Upstate New York and received information they were built in Germany Many beautiful colors and a gorgeous design to this rare find I do have 3 additional windows from this same church in the same size ... morebut different designs and colors If interested. Beautiful Antique Arched Stained Glass Church Clerestory Window Framed 31" x 74"
This auction is for a nice old window as seen. Great colors. The chalice is hand painted, the four small green squares at the bottom are also painted with a design. Framed and hinged, ready for rough in. About 31" x 6' high, not sure of the age, turn of the century maybe, I would say no later than 1930's, I really don't know. Many of you will be able to tell by the style, hardware or wood maybe. It is old. It pivots in the center and locked into place with the hardware mounted on the side. The jamb is 7 1/4" wide and includes exterior casing. Ready to be slid into a rough opening. The glass on the bottom has been pushed in and has come out of the framing as seen in the photo and it needs a cleaning but overall very nice.
