Some tape and tape residue is still stuck in areas. Tape therefore is not because of damage, just because of the way they were stored. Pieces were used at one time as there is paint residue in areas along with window putty present. Pieces are in various shapes, sizes and conditions. Pieces range from 1 1/4" x 4 1/2" to about 3" x 8" Colors are blue, darker blue/ green(aqua) green and red. You can see how many(and which ones) pieces of each color are present. Rare Antique Stained Glass Church Windows, Circa Late 1800's
A rare and beautiful set of stained glass windows. The hand crafted design and nature of the stained glass speaks to the late 1800's. The windows were salvaged from an old church in the Chicago area in the 1970's and have been professionally restored to their original glory. The restorers believe that the style and material suggests that they probably were imported. They have been re-framed and are substantial enough to be installed as windows. Both windows are in superb condition given their age. Sionce their restoration in 1976 they have been used indoors as partition screens and not exposed to the elements. The loving and qualified restoration make any repairs unremarkable. Each window is 79" tall and 16 3/4" wide. The wood frame size is 89" tall and 21 3/4" wide and 2" deep. Antique gothic stained glass window. It measures 74" tall x 27" wide. It has a window that opens(see pic#2) The lines in the 2 pcs of yellow glass in pic#5 are not cracks. They were apparently made when the glass was manufactured. It needs some minor work including chips and scratches in the frame that will have to be filled and then frames painted. pic#8 is the largest example) There are some cracks in a couple pcs of glass that can be fixed or left alone as they are not major. see pic# 4) Contact me for shipping and crating charges. Is of teardrop shape in clear hand blown crown glass and stained in cranberry red. It is finely hand painted with a serene young man or boys head, his eyes closed as if sleeping and his dark curly hair surrounded by fine sun ray halo. CONDITION This gorgeous little piece is in very good condition. Incredible Matching Set of Gothic Antique Church Stained Glass Windows
These are very large and very beautiful matched antique art noveau church stained glass windows. You cannot see all of the beautiful glass as my window is not tall enough to show them completely. They measure: 80" tall X 24" wide. They have a few cracked panels here and there but nothing major and no missing pieces. They are each set with a jewel in the center. One is blue and the other is orange/red. Beautiful pastel colors. Salmon, purple, yellow, green and sky blue. I love these windows and if they don't sell, I am happy to keep them. Antique Stained Glass Church Window Pre 1877 This beautiful antique stained glass church window dates prior to 1877. It is part of a larger set of church windows in a church I own. This window needs to be in a new building or church where it will be well-maintained. There are no visible cracks or chips. The colors are vibrant. The exterior of the window has been protected by a covering of thick glass for the past 25 + years. I have not found the window maker yet. But consulting with stained glass experts it is a very special window of quality made by a very good studio mostly likely in the Midwest. This church was completed in 1877 but the entire set of windows came from another church as a few of the windows have been slightly modified. However. I think the church was built with this specific set of windows in mind. Set of 11 antique gothic arched church stained glass leaded glass windows
Here is a beautiful set of 11 gothic stained/leaded glass windows. They measure 55 1/2" tall x 30 1/4" wide. There is no broken glass. 4 of the windows have the textured yellow stained glass(see pics 2-5) and the remaining 7 have the clear glass(pics 6-12) Each window has a hand painted stained glass image. I have removed most of the paint from the frames except the textured yellow windows as they were stained. The joints where the arches start to curve on the frames have loosened over time and have some movement in them. They can either be addressed or left alone. When they are framed into a structure. They will be locked in place by window stops. One frame does have a cracked piece in it and may need a little attention. I listed a bird panel earlier this week that came from the same church. these are covered in dirt. the backside not so much so you can tell their true color from the back. I dared not clean them as I have no idea how to do this the right way. the panels are not without issues. there are cracks and some holes. see all photos. the one panel has a bend in it on the top AND bottom. they are both so very fragile. I will have ups store package these. I love the"lantern" centers. im not sure if these were wired at one time. the roof on the one lantern looks to be copper. the one with the wreath. but I have no way to be sure. the one with the buckling issue measures 21" tall. 11 1/2" wide. it is buckled and looks to be folding.

Large Antique Arched Jeweled Stained Glass Window Sacred Heart Church Dayton OH This is a lovely. Large stained glass window that was in a catholic church Sacred Heart in downtown Dayton, OH. The church was built in 1893, but we don’t know if it is original. The church has had many stained glass windows and has had them redone and refurbished through the years. The window was owned by a private owner for many years and he mounted the window on a big board. I do not know if the window can be removed from the board or how to remove it. The window is arched at the top and has many jeweled pieces within the stained glass panels. I do not know the artist of the window either. The stained glass window is 5 feet tall x 3 feet 3 inches wide. The board the window is mounted on is 6 feet 4-1/2 inches tall x 3 feet 6 inches wide. I could not find a ... moremark. The stained glass window is being sold as is. There are manufacturing flaws in the lead came and glass. There is a panel that has been broken and pushed out. There are numerous spots with cracks. The lead came is old and has signs of wear. The wooden frame is cracked in three places and the paint is worn off. Please. Look at the pictures closely to get a better idea of the overall condition.
