Antique Church Prayer Stained Glass Window Panel - Gothic
This is a gothic revival stained glass panel circa 1850 depicting the prayer"He shall enter into peace" It measures 63cm in height and 44cm in width. These panels were originally an extended quatrefoil shape. Which means"four leaves" And applies to general four-lobed shapes in various contexts. They have had sympathetic 19th Century fragments added to make up the rectangular form. New outside and internal leads have been inserted, however the original internal leads have been retained to maintain the panels historic integrity. Antique Stained Glass Window Hand of God Salvaged New York Church 1800s
I bought this stained glass window about 15 years ago from an Antique Dealer in NYS who was also a friend. He purchased a estate of an old Victorian home that was being demolished and salvaged all doors. Windows and alike. This stained glass had been salvaged by the owners of the Victorian home from an old church and they had a door built around the stained glass of their beloved church. I have the door and have included two pictures of it. I am selling the glass and you are welcomed to have the door as well but. I do not have any of the missing panels on each corner and bottom; I lost them while moving. I've seen similar shapes in on-line pictures of old church stained glass windows that were in the rounded ceilings. The design on this appears to be a stylized hand of God. Unlike any other I have seen. This is for pick up or for you ... moreto arrange your own pick up because it is too fragile to ship. This stained glass is old. From the mid to late 1800s and it needs some TLC as you can see in the picture. There are 2 pieces of glass that are broken(see last 2 pictures before door) and some of the joints need to be redone. All the pieces are there though and the 2 rods for reinforcement in the back are there too. Overall Measurement: 46-1/2" long by 25-3/4" wide at its widest. Up for auction is a very old antique leaded stained glass window from a church! It is definitely pre 1900. From the fleur-de-lis logos on this window. A French monarchy icon that once symbolized the trinity with its three leaves, this could be French? There are areas of damage in which is only expected from such an old item. I have taken pictures of all the damage I could see. A missing piece of light blue glass in pic 6& a missing light blue glass panel covered by a white board in pic 4& 8. THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIND AND IS AN OLD SALVAGED CHURCH STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH AN ARCHED SHAPE THAT IS ABOUT 3 1/2 FEET TALL I love the old windows. Especially the ones that come out of the old Churches, like this one. This is just incredible. It is an older window that is about 43" tall. It has a wood frame with the old white paint on the front and brown on the back. The paint is now chippy and peely for a perfect patina. It has the amazing arched window at the center with twelve colored glass panes all around it. The center has an awesome pattern that I believe like the old stencil in white. Auction is for the stained glass window shown. This was originally a swinging door and the top was cut off from the bottom. The old door is 2 3/4" thick and the outside measurements are 24" X 60" The inside measurements. exposed glass) are 15" X 50 1/2" Many beautiful colors plus two sections of clear glass beveled on one side(center) I examined this glass very closely and can find no cracks in it. There are many natural markings to the glass. But I found no cracks. I have 3 more of these but this is the only perfect one. Pick-up in Hazleton, Pa. always welcome, or I will ship UPS. Antique Stained Glass Roundel From Church Window Sun-Catcher Anchor 12 1/2" Anchor Stability and Security Hope in the faithfulness of God The Rope Recalls the rope used to bind our Lord when he was led away to the high priest. And thus symbolizes the betrayal and arrest. Description of Flaws-Damages This has some cracks in it. If you look at the rope where it curves at the bottom you will see it. While out taking some more pictures of this yesterday I noticed one more crack. It is in the bottom curve part of the anchor in the white glass. The last Two pictures shows the crack in the anchor looking at it from both sides. The third picture from the end shows the crack in the rope up close. Most of this one is made out of slag glass. The colors in it are so pretty the way they swirl into each other. If you look at the pictures of the Slag ... moreglass you will notice little crack like looking veins in it. Matching Pair Antique 1840s Stained Glass Church Windows 53" by 22" rosette
Up for bid is a Matching Pair of 1840's Stained Glass Church Windows. They are 53" at the tallest and 47" at the short side. 22" inches wide. The glass itself is 48" by 43-1/2" by 14" wide. The center"rose" is 12" across. The wood frame is 3" at the thickest(where the swingout is- they are meant to be opened) and 1-3/4" elsewhere. I do not know what kind of wood it is. These are genuine antique real leaded stained glass windows. They will need some repair- I wouldn't dare try myself after all they are 170 years old! Vintage CHURCH Stained Glass Window Panel Antique Gothic Heavy Lead Early 1900s
Hello. And thanks for checking out the auction! This item is a Vintage. Probably early 1900s Stained Glass Window Panel which originally came from a Church. This glass panel had been reframed in the 1960s on the frame that it's hanging on now, and for years it hung in the window of one of my favorite restaurants back in the day. When they went out of business I purchased it and it has been hanging in my window ever since. Now we're redecorating and it's time for the glass to find a new owner. The frame(outside measurement) measures 31" x 25-1/2" inside measurement is 26-1/4" x 21" 1-3/4" thick, and it weighs a TON, with a ton weighing in at 25 lbs. The frame is actually in 2 pieces and forms a clamp around the glass, kind of like a"frame sandwich" It's structurally very sound, but has a few ... morespots where the glass has spidered(see pictures) That being said, the glass is going nowhere because the lead around it is 3/4" wide in spots, and no narrower than 3/8" in the more detailed spots. The integrity of the lead joints are very good with no breaks anywhere. In addition to having beautiful colored glass, there are also designs painted on the glass in black of leaves and vines. It's absolutely stunning on a sunny day or seen from the outside with an interior light on in the house. I have it set up with the original hooks and chains and secured it into a beam in front of one of our windows with a Southern exposure and it's a delight. I would prefer that this item be Local Pickup. But would entertain offers on shipping. It would probably be in the neighborhood of $35 to ship it with insurance, but I couldn't guarantee it's safe arrival even with secure packaging. Even though it's probably a lot stronger than it looks, it's still old and heavy and could easily get mishandled. Maybe just East of the Mississippi. Here is old stained glass window from a church in the mid-west around 1910. Except for a few cracked pieces of glass which are not prominent. It is in good shape and solid. I believe this is the top portion of the full window, but is gorgeous displays well all by itself. Approximately 30" wide by 28" tall. It is from the Paul Ecke Poinsettia Ranch estate in Encinitas, CA. Mr. Ecke was the man responsible for coining Encinitas as"The Flower Capitol of the World" See other items I have from the ranch on auction this week. Antique Stained Glass Church Window 57" x 37"
This is a very old leaded glass arch widow from an old church. The window measures 57" wide and 37" tall. Along the bottom edge. The lead channel appears to be distorted in places, likely during removal. To the right of the center"crowns" design, there are some small cracks in the first narrow pane and the next full pane; but these are very minor and do not detract from the beauty of the piece. The remainder of the glass is perfect. Needless to say. This window is very heavy and cannot be shipped. Feel free to send me a message with any questions. But please note that I am not an expert on stained glass. Still, I'll do my best.

I will be listing more windows either in my store or on auction. The church windows are from the historic St. Michael Byzantine church located in South Fork Pa. Sadly the church is being demolished. The wooden frames are original to the building of the church from 1906. They have the heavy weights still inside the frames. Weight approximatly 650 pds. per window. They were cut out of the walls. So as you look at the pictures you will see the 2x8 framing. You will have to do some repairs to the woodwork. I am going to finish mine and stand against a wall instead of installing as a window. The stained glass is from the 1947-1950's as the original glass was in bad condition. Gorgeous windows. If you live close and would like to view before bidding that is fine. We will help load them. It is difficult to show every piece of the curved frame. As I wrote frame in antique condition will need some work. The last picture shows outside protective glass still complete. There are no cracks or breaks in the outside glass or the stained glassThe church had no power hence no light for better picture taking.Framing is is 2x8's but can be reduced to 2x4 or 2x6. 1920's Antique Stain Glass Windows: The colors are absolutely incredible. I bought these windows from a pastor at the historic old church located in Downtown Nashville. TN. shown in the image. They are in excellent shape for the age of the item. I am selling 4 sets of 2 each large Complete stain-glass windows. These 4 sets are complete windows- it is a total of 16 pieces plus diamond shape pieces to make up 4 pairs of complete windows. Approx size of the Diamond piece is 26" wide x 30" tall. The other Main pieces of the window are approx 10' tall by 20" wide. The First image shows the windows before they were taken out. The diamond part at the top is one piece and the top side pieces are the other ones. You can see by one image all the different sections laid out on foam core board for protecting them. I was told by ... morethe preacher these windows were made by Tiffany but can not verify this. These were made in the early 1920's. These windows radiate with magnificent colors. These are perfect for someone that is building a custom home, or to include in an existing home or at the very least a church. There is one tight crack on the small glass on the left side by the frame. One by the frame on the right side on one of the small pieces, you cant even notice those they blend in with the paint.One about 1" long crack on piece of red glass of Jesus robe.The only one more noticeable with 3 cracked lines is the one on Marys dress on white glass on her knee by the bottom where she is kneeling down.
