The stock market up, and consumer confidence up as well, i thought i would list some of my better lamps that i have been holding on to for the past couple of years. this is one of them. i have for auction this very nice handel desk lamp. the base in excellent original patina and in fine working order. the is no metalwork damage and it is signed in cloth label handel. the base has been recently rewired with period style cloth cord and it measures 13 inches tall in its upright position. its outward measurement from back of baseplate to front of shade is about 15 inches. the shade measures 5 inches tall by 6 and 1/4 inches wide. the shade without any glass loss. Cracks, chips, filligree loss, or filligree damage. the shade signed handel near the top of its fitter ring. this is a very straight and clean desk lamp ... morefolks and i am selling it without reserve to the highest bidder here on ebay. thanks for looking and please check out my other great quality lighting auctions. bidders please remember that i am selling antiques and that there should be a degree of expectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minor imperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. chances are if there arent any. This is a magnificent piece of furniture. There is a strip of burled wood down the center of the upper and lower pieces and the front of the lower doors have burled wood on them as well as a nicely designed inlaid tiger wood strip. This piece has great patina. The veneer has bubbled and chipped in a couple of spots but its hardly noticeable. The over all condition of this piece is excellent for its age. It is a very old antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact date it was made or who the maker is. The base measures 39 inches tall, 53 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 75 pounds. The top measures 34 ½ inches tall, 49 1/8 inches side to side and 17 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 97 pounds. This listing is for a vintage stained glass window. Frame dimensions are approximately 16 1/2" by 19 3/4" The glass is approximately 13 1/8" by 16 1/4" There are no breaks or chips in the glass. The design is made up of four colors: green. Blue, red, and yellow. The frame is not in very good condition. The surrounding glass has a pebbled finish. The paint on the frame is very, very old. It is a lion head, claw foot, scroll carved, tiger sawn oak, leaded glass curio mirror back top sideboard, dating from the 1890s in completely stripped and refinished condition. We’ve repaired a back leg that was broken and totally restored it and replaced a panel on the side, and we’ve refinished it of course, and now this sideboard is all ready to go in the home right out of the shipping crate. It’s of tiger sawn oak, with a leaded glass china closet top, and I believe there are three panes with small cracks in them. They are very hard to see, but I wanted to mention them. The mirrored back is original on top, but the one underneath the gallery has been replaced due to silver issues. The columns have claw feet and lion heads, the base has a scroll applied, leaf carved front that scrolls down into a beautiful detailed claw foot with carved wings underneath. It has rolled front drawers that are all dovetailed, doors, and a large center drawer. The thing that is really unique on this is the hardware, which I’ve never seen before. Antique Iron Frame Leaded Stain Glass Top Hinged Transom Designer Window
Up for auction is an antique stain glass window. This casement window with a top hinge transom is really nice. The frame is made of what appears to be wrought iron. It is solid, unbent and unbroken. The window would require roughly a 19" x 35 1/2" opening to install. Note I am saying roughly. A carpenter. Installer or builder would determine the exact measurement. There are no cracks in the glass. The hinged transom is in perfect operating condition including when you draw it closed. It locks down tight. Please realize that the frame will require stripping. Antique Handel Style Leaded Glass Ceiling Tulip Lamp with Fixture
This Handel style leaded glass tulip ceiling lamp with brass fixture came from my Grandmother's house where it hung over their dining room table for over 80 years. I had the lamp and the brass fixture appraised by valuemystuff.com. They estimated the lamp to be from around 1910-1920 and the fixture about the same. The lamp was appraised at $200-$300 and the fixture at $80-$120. Appraisal certificates are available if interested. The wire is original and needs replacing. There are no defects in the lamp. But the brass fixture has 2 small dents in the base and the brass needs polishing. The lamp is 7" high and has a diameter of 7" and the base opening is 2 1/4" The ceiling fixture is brass, 4' long with 4 1/2" diameter base. The socket and switch are in good condition and worked prior to being removed from house.

Vintage Mid Century~ Beautiful Crystal Compote with Painted Brass Pedestal and Black Marble Base Dish has a diamond shaped pattern with a cut notched edge~ it's so clear and refracts the light so nicely! The pedestal is a antique gold tone and cream color painted brass scroll and tear drop shapes. exquisite! The paint looks like it was done purposely to be a bit distressed. The base is a solid block of black marble with a golden brown grain running through it. I am guessing(although I do not know the exact age) that this piece is from about the 1960s. Antique Pair Leaded Beveled Glass Window Framed Crest Design Vinitage Lot of 2
This is a pair of vintage leaded glass windows. I am not sure the age or history but they have been used for a number of years. And are still in good condition as you can see in the pictures. The glass around the crest is beveled and the center piece has a texture to make it somewhat opaque and colored. I have showed both sides of the units and the various remaining paint colors that are on the frames. The one window to the left does have a crack in one pane of the glass shown up close in the very last picture. Both windows are about 26" wide 25 1/4" high and 1 3/8" deep. Description This is a nice antique window that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. I am unsure of the age- between 50 and 100 years. All of the border pieces are beveled. The frame is not antique. It can be hing either way. It measures 21.75 inches wide by 51.75 inches tall and is 1 inch thick. The glass only is approx. 18 x 48. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple tight hairlines and some paint on the glass. Please look at the pictures carefully.
