The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. I have looked this art pottery lamp base over carefully, including under a blacklight and the high bidder will only find a few light scratches to the glaze and no restorations. Constructed from copper, not brass, the 5” diameter kerosene font is also perfect with a working wick adjuster. The wick should be replaced. The 14” diameter by 7” tall leaded antique glass shade has always been with this lamp and it is in perfect condition with no restorations. At first I thought that a couple of the lighter slag glass panels were replaced. But under a light you will see that every piece of glass is original to the shade with the same deep violet running through all the glass. Blue eapg vase 4 5/8"h and a bit over 2 1/8"w. Heavy thick glass that weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. Diamond/star pattern with pretty radiating line pattern on base. The top is fluted.There are no chips.Marks or cracks of any kind.The color is not as dark as photographed. It is lighter than shown. Beautiful Antique Leaded Glass Window or cabinet door in the diamond pattern with 3 beveled diamonds down the center. This was in a house here in Ohio. It is 18" wide x 48" tall overall. The glass itself is 14x42. All the glass is in perfect condition no breaks at all. The wood frame was painted and has some finish loss and some wood loss. This will display like no other. Each door has a solid Douglas Fir core covered with 1/16" Birch veneers. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However. It has some dirt and grime around the edges of the lead and in the crevices(see pictures) which can also be cleaned up. There are some tiny hairline cracks in a few of the window pieces but most cannot be seen without very close inspection(see pictures) There is one piece of lead at a corner. Here is a very early leaded stained glass window inside of a steel/iron window frame. There are actually two pieces- the window which is in a steel/iron frame and then another steel/iron frame that the window fits in. This window panel adorned the wall of an antique Périgord château chapelle(see lovely Paris pink rose cross) The scalloped top adds so much appeal to it! I managed to rescue two similar panels. But it has so much charm in its original condition and when the light hits this panel, you can really see how bright and vivid are still the colours! This is an antique vintage ornament. This gorgeous panel measures 25"x12(not including frame) It has beautiful THICK colored glass in a very unique design with large pieces of textured glass around it. This panel was bought at an auction in 1995. Believed to be taken off a 100+ year old house before it was demolished. This panel needs a very good cleaning and some tlc. It has no breaks or chips in the glass however it does need some work done to the lead veins. In places the lead has tiny cracks. This beautiful cabinet cupboard measures approx. 94" tall. Just shy of 8 feet. The triangular base is 39" across the front and 29.5" on both sides. Thick crown molding on top, reeded columns, leaded glass on arch door with 3 interior shelves, one pull out storage drawer and one hinged door at the bottom. Unmarked, back is a painted off white color. Everything appears original. Was built in to a dining room corner so the base has nail holes from the applied floor trim. The lead on the glass has pitted from being close to the saltwater air at the Shore. Selling AS IS, as pictured. Very heavy to move-requires strong men and a large truck. Offered is a Vintage Leaded Stained Glass Window in the Original Wooden Sash Frame. The wooden frame measures approx. 15 3/4" by 15 7/8” And is approx. 2” thick. The window is in good vintage condition with no cracks in the glass. There are still the original nails protruding from the wooden frame. So care should be taken when unpacking. The wooden frame shows signs of aging. Consistent with that of 75 to 100+ year old antique wares. Beautiful Matched Pair of Antique Victorian Leaded Glass Transom Windows Frame
Up for auction is this pair of Victorian leaded glass windows. They are a matching pair and have only one small crack in one of the pieces(see photo) They have great colors of green and mauve and are truly in great shape and very solid. The Frames measure 19 1/4 inches by 44" and 1 3/8" thick. The glass measures about 16" by 40" They are in there original wood frames that are very solid. I personally took these out of the house here locally. Again these are guaranteedd to be antiques and very solid or money is refunded. This is one of many art related items that I am selling on Ebay.
