A PRIM WELCOME! This set of mini stocking are made from my own pattern. I did some research because I wanted to know what people used to decorate their trees during the civil war. They used fabric and paper and made everyday items. Like stars, hearts, stocking, animals and such. So I bought these pretty civil war prints. The colors are not what we normally would use, but during that time they used what they had, so I did the same. The mini stocking measure 4" long, at the neck it measure just 1 1/2" and at the toe 3" wide. The fabric is a sage green and a cranberry stripe, a brown with cranberry and a pretty cream/green print. All hand stitched and stuffed. For the cuff I used a cream plush fleece with the tiny ribbon hanger stitched between the cuff and fabric. You receive all 6 with this set. They would be great in an old ... morebowl or basket, tucked in a wreath or from a prim tree. Would also be cute as package decorations. Watch for more seasonal items. Prim Handmade Christmas/Holiday Daisies in Pair of Vintage Glass Door Knobs
~Hello and welcome~ In this listing. I am offering a pair of vintage glass door knobs.each holding three primitive handmade Christmas or Holiday daisies! The two decorations would look nice standing on either end of your mantel or on top of an old cupboard or shelf. They can also be displayed separately anywhere you would like a bit of Winter cheer! The flowers are made out of sweet cotton homespuns in shades of light blue. Cream and cranberry.they each have a snowflake print on the fabric. The centers of the daisies are gathered and hand stitched in place with a bit of batting inside. I stained the flowers with a coffee/vanilla mixture and stiffened them to hold their shape. The daisies measure about 4-1/2" across and are attached to twisted rusty wire stems. A PRIM WELCOME! I did some research on what they decorated their trees with during the Civil War and found out that they used fabric left over from the clothes they made. The would make stars. Hearts, tiny flags, birds and stockings. So I drew my own tiny stocking pattern. Watch for more Civil War ornaments coming soon. This set of tiny stocking are made from my own hand drawn pattern. They measure 5" from the cord. The stocking measure just 3 1/2" at the toe 2 1/4" and top section is 1 1/8" I used tiny red homespun fabric for the stocking, all hand stitched, not stuffed. For the cuff I used tea stained warm and natural with a twine hanger securely stitched between the fabric and cuff. I then added a tiny tiny button to the cuff. You could use these as package ties, party favors or a little something for the tree. You ... morecould tuck a small candy cane or candy stick or even some money rolled up. This would be great for Christmas wreaths, trees and other Christmas projects as well as making into Christmas ornaments for the tree.
