A sweet little pillow with a plush wool felt squirrel handstitched on an early quilt block. He's holding a tiny bell and wearing a red tie. It measures 6"x6" and backed with old muslin. I used polyfil for stuffing. The quilt piece shows a little wear but only adds to the charm. Looks great tucked in a cupboard or a basket with a collection of small pillows. Can also be hung. Primitive Punch Needle Halloween Bat Pillow Cupboard Hanger
Up for auction is a punch needle pillow with hanger that was newly created by me. The bat was punched using Valdani#8 perle thread on a piece of Belgian linen. I then used fabric glue to adhere it to the pillow. As well as a blanket stitch. The pillow is made from a Woolrich sweater that has been felted. It is stuffed with polyester fiber fill and finished with another blanket stitch. The hanger is made of orange glittery tulle and black and white chevron ribbon, which is attached with rusty safety pins. The hanger can be easily shortened or removed entirely. Overall measurements are approximately 8" X 4.75" not including the hanger. Although the bat appears to be black and blue in the photos, he is actually black and purple.
