The ends of the bands are rounded where they're clipped, and the staves have U-shaped tongue& groove notches. The bottom, which is chamfered, has cream-colored paint. Vintage Sap Bucket Shabby Mustard Gold Paint - Garden Shed Porch Home Decor
This is a neat old galvanized metal sap bucket with shabby paint in a great mustard gold color. I am not sure the paint is original to the time when the bucket was made but it sure looks good. This bucket is 9" tall x 6" across the bottom and 9" across the top. The bucket is in very good condition with no leaks. It has the original hole at the top where it would have hung from the tree to collect the sap for making maple syrup. The hole is great to use now for hanging from the garden fence or potting shed. This old bucket is perfect to hold a big bunch of wild flowers-or dried weeds in the fall-or to hold a few old garden tools-or! Also fun for inside your home or out on the porch. Primitive Farm Machine The Cyclone Pat. Date 1892 In Old Mustard Yellow Paint. Big and heavy. Measures about 27" long, 6" high and 5" wide. Made of wood and metal. The funnel portion is metal, also the round section and gears. The gears do turn nicely by turning the hand crank. It also had a cloth cotton type of sling attached but it just fell apart to dozens on pieces and I didn't try to salvage them, I bought straight out of a beautiful old barn here in Connecticut. The paper label fell off when I was looking it over and it can be put back. The label states it is The Cyclone, Pat March 29, 1892 and the instructions as how to use. The bottom portion of the label is missing and probably had the maker and region made. Pennsylvania. Circa 1780-1800 in Pine. A RARE MINIATURE BLANKET CHEST WITH ITS ORIGINAL APPLIED BRACKET BASE AND THE BEST OLD GRUNGY MUSTARD PAINT. Great miniature example. Great dovetailed construction. It has great early square headed nails. A"REAL" BLANKET CHEST IN MINIATURE. It has its original iron hinges. Lock and latch. Offered here. A totally charming"Grandfather" built doll cradle, dating from the late 20s-early 30s. This was so well constructed that apparent years of play failed to loosen even one nail. The width of the rockers is 14" The bottom of the cradle measures 19" x 9 1/4" The top opening of the cradle measures 21 1/2" x 11" x 11 1/2" This piece is so attractive that I can see it doing other work than rocking a doll. Antique Miniature Salt Box Toy or Match Holder Primitive Old Mustard Paint
Antique and primitive. I'm not sure whether this is a small match holder or a miniature childs toy. It's in the shape of a wall hung salt box, barrel shaped with hinged lid, painted with old mustard-orange and black. There is a fair amount of paint loss as is visible in my photos. It has a small piece missing from the very bottom at the back, it's not visible except from the back. Overall it measures only 3 1/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide so it's pretty small but would probably hold the older style wax matches. Has a hanging hole at the top. Primitive Antique Original Thick Slate Wood Framed Blackboard This is for an antique thick slate wood framed blackboard. Original antique. Not a reproduction. This blackboard is made of thick, very heavy slate. The frame is original wood and it has years of past lives depicted in its original wood with original patina and surface. Original yellow milk paint is on the wood, which makes this board even more original and exciting for the collector or for the person who loves decorating their space with original antique primitive items. Measures: 27" long by 20 3/4" wide x 1" frame. This item is heavy. The top of the frame has two hooks to hang. The chalk board is two-sided. The slate on one side is clean the other side has a few tiny scratches on the surface and the words family tree is very faintly on the board. I am sure it ... morewill clean up beautifully. The overall condition of this two sided slate board is in excellent. Clean condition with a perfect surface for continued writing. The wood frame is original. Painted in original yellow/mustard milk paint. The wood frame has normal antique surface wear such as dings, scratches, chippy paint etc. there is a small off-white line of what appears to be a paint line drip on one edge of the wood. The frame is firmly attached to the board with original antique nails. On one side of the board the frame on one side is missing the quarter round. The quarter round is on 3 sides only. However. This missing piece does not compromise the integrity of the board at all. It is still firmly in place. On the other side the quarter rounds are on all four sides. The wood frame moves ever so slightly, it is not tight, but has a bit of movement in it even thought the board is firmly in place. Please see all photos and ask questions. This item is very. From my personal collection is this wonderful antique early wooden sign. I purchased this from a dealer out in New England. But don't remember its history. It's completely original; great mustard paint, wooden frame, black painted lettering"Leonce Hairdresser" I added the sawtooth hanger on the back, but otherwise in same condition I found it in. ANTIQUE VINTAGE ALDOVIN DAIRY MILK CAN WITH DOUBLE HANDLES AND WORN MUSTARD PAINT This large milk can/pail was recently found in eastern Virginia. It is made from heavy gauge metal with a reinforced bottom rim. And shows old worn mustard paint except for the bottom which is painted black. It measures 24" tall to the top rim, with a diameter of 13-1/8" at the base and 9" at the top rim. The domed base is recessed 1-1/2" from the bottom rim. It is embossed on one side: ALDOVIN DAIRY TUNKHANNOCK. PA. 1-60 The can remains in good condition just showing general wear and numerous shallow dents. New England early swift in an original mustard color nicely worn to an old mellow finish. Wooden umbrella type having elegant 16" long spokes. A slide push up with incised carving, and a table clamp base. Rotates around a central rod. Winds from a spinning wheel or from skeins of yarn without tangling or knotting- just slip the loosened skein over the swift and slide the swift open. Partial loss to one spoke which does not affect use. Central rod may have once had a decorative topper. Otherwise, good sturdy working condition, as found. Antique 1800's Mustard Yellow PAINT Wall Hanging Woven SPLINT Basket Primitive Fabulous Woven Splint Wall Hanging Basket. The Antique Wall Hanging Basket is heavily painted with mustard yellow paint that has crackled with age. Handle is 3/4" wide and is meant for hanging upon the wall. I believe this basket is circa 1800s. This Hanging Basket has a Bulbous Half Shaped Body. The Antique Woven Wall Hanging Basket has a Flat Woven Back for resting flat to the wall surface. This is a hard to find shape. There is a break on a cane on the corner that I have taken a closeup of. I am not an expert on this type of item so the information is based on what I have been advised.
