Condition: Like New Location: Elgin, United States I purchased this piece from a shop on Beverly near Fairfax in the mid 90's. I don't remember the shop. It is gone now. The owner told me it was ... morefron South America, I don't know the age but it is not new, probably from the early part of last century. The piece is made of walnut and other woods, posibbly birch? Glass is original and looks old. Has a couple of nicks, was used in my home for a long time, in storage for three years. I don't think you could buy an original antique with this quality refinishing job for anywhere close to what I am asking, you can contact me if you would like to view the piece. It is like a new piece in terms of function and finish but is very old. It was refinished at Los Angeles Stripping& Finishing Center. The locks on the doors work. They are original to the piece and the refinishers bought a skeleton key and filed it to work in the lock. The drawer hardware is reproduction from Van Dykes Restorers, stamped plates with eye hooks to hold the pulls, like what was left of the originals which were mostly missing, solid brass The wine rack was purchased from pottery barn. Local pick-up only in Los Angeles.
