CONFIDENTIAL Letter from John DELOREAN to Northern Ireland Development Executive
This is a six page confidential"draft" letter in which John Delorean appears to place blame on many the key executives of his company for DMC's financial situation. The letter is to Tony Hopkins. Of the Northern Ireland Development Association(NIDA) which was an organization assisting DMC in trying to succeed. The letter contains some controversial content, including allegations of mismanagement directed towards the key dedicated executives and officers of the Delorean Motor Company. It is unknown whether a final letter was ever sent. Again. This is just a draft with some handwritten revisions done by John DeLorean. It is another piece of automotive history showing the inside workings of one of the most exciting car companies ever conceived. Please see my other historic DeLorean items up for auction.

This nice large map of the Irish Free State& Northern Ireland. It measures 22 X 16 inches. It is a rare delight to offer a map this large without folds. Would look fantastic framed under glass. Shadows and blurry edges are my scanner. Not the map. This map also has a few small margin tears that have been tacked to prevent additional tearing. This was done using archival mending tissue, a tissue made especially for this purpose. According to worldcat.org. There are a few of these atlases in the major reference and university collections, but this is the first one we have ever seen in more than 40 years of collecting maps. The poster is in great shape with exception of some minor yellowing and age spots(see pictures) No tears on this one. There are no staple holes in this one from being displayed in a Cooks Travel Agency. It has been stored in rolled up condition and edges are crisp and good. This poster was published by the British and Travel Associations in cooperation with Northern Ireland Tourist Board and printed in Great Britain. Mid 1950’s Please examine all pictures to determine condition. So I can not recommend one, but there are plenty of them out there that restore and provide linen backing to make an old poster look new. Please be aware that these National Geographic Maps are anywhere from 30 to 80 years old. They are printed on paper that is not acid free and in most cases have not been stored in the best way. So some of the maps you are buying will be in a condition that reflects both of these facts. The map you get may be worn or lightly torn along the fold lines due to the acidity of the paper and being folded for years. They may also be discolored or mottling spots again due to the acidity of the paper. The borders of the maps may also have small tears. This is a very interesting old cabinet photo that was taken at the Royal Studio. In Belfast, Northern Ireland, circa 1880. The subject is a handsome young man with an interesting sash. The Northern Ireland One Pound Coin. Commemorative coin cover issued by Mercury/Westminster Collection on 22nd June 1996. The cover combines a £1 Carrickfergus Castle stamp with a brilliant uncirculated Northern Ireland"Celtic Cross" £1 coin. It bears a special"Northern Ireland One Pound Coin Carrickfergus" postmark. The artwork at the left hand side features the castle and the Celtic Cross. This cover is in very good condition. It is stated to be no. 1455 of a limited edition. During and shortly after WW2 a young British boy sent requests to British Regiments and Divisions( and Ships) requesting they send their traditional Christmas cards to him. Many are signed by the Commanding General or Officer's from each unit. There are over 200 in the collection. I combine shipping costs and require payment within 5 days. also the dark spots on the photos are not on the cards. I didn't realize that I had dust on my camera lense when taking the photos.
