This painting was to commemorate this once in an lifetime event in 2009. This artist rendering was of a Evinrude Outboard Motor Dealership, shown is Evinrude row boat motor uncrated and placed on the transom of an Evinrude Deluxe Wood Motor Boat, in the background of the shop you can see a window looking out onto a lake where someone is Evinruding with a new Evinrude rowboat motor on the Evinrude wood boat. Also notice on the shelf is an early Duplex motor Oil Can, a Evinrude Camp Stove and a Boat Light. You are bidding on the poster only. My family business. The Hildebrandt Bait Company, has a four generation history making spinner baits. My Great Grand Dad is credited with inventing the use of a clevis to mount the spinner to the shaft. Some like to tell a story about him pounding out a dime and inventing the spinner as well. I've not been able to confirm that one. My Grand Dad designed the quick change clip that allowed any hooked fly to be attached. The Hildebrandt spinners could attract attention to any bait. This was found in a cedar chest that contained many items from the early 20 th century. And there is no reason to believe this did not come from that period. It is a beautiful spread, and could be from France, as the design elements are very thick and stand out beautifully. This is not like the matelassé that is found today– it is lush and thick. In addition, the bedspread is made to fit a four-post bed, with the bottom of the spread having a cut out area to fit around the poster. The pictures certainly do not do this piece justice, especially because I had to take them on ... morethe dining room table as it does not fit a queen bed. I believe(and you can determine for yourself by the measurements below) that this fits a double or full bed. It is in a white-ivory in color. Not bright white, but more muted like ivory. The border of the top of the bedspread has fuzzy floral designs bordering a superb center of water lilies and scrollwork. It is absolutely the nicest design I have seen on these– not a cookie-cutter design as most are. The entire top is bordered by large dots within lines. The drop of the bedspread; that is, the sides, begin with the fuzzy floral elements(roses, I believe) and ends in a scalloped edge that is a checkerboard design. Stunning! This gorgeous antique matelassé cover is made of thick cotton and is fully washable, although I have found no stains, rips, holes or tears on the piece. I guarantee you will be pleased with this gorgeous bedspread! The bed cover measures approximately 84 inches long by 82 inches wide. For sale is a 1890s- 1910 spool 4 post bed. I believe the wood is walnut. The finials are pineapples. Fits a queen mattress but is a little short for the mattress. I bought a foam mattress and cut off about 1.5 inches at the foot of the bed. If not using foam you will have to have one specially made or use double size mattress. Very tall and striking! This is a wonderful matched pair of mahogany tall poster beds that date from the 1940s. It’s a great-looking pair. In overall nice condition. ... moreThey have been re-sprayed with a satin sheen lacquer to remove nicks and dings, and are finished in a dark reddish-brown finish. The footboards are extra special, with multi-turned cross-spindle cross-stretchers, but there is also a shield on the bottom with a rope braided molded edge. The posts themselves are all heavily turned, with vase type finials on the top that match the headboards, and also have carved grooves in the blocks on the turned legs. Look at the pictures, and you’ll see the headboards have a gorgeous broken crown molded shield top, which is unusual for a twin-size bed and looks just like a Governor Winthrop desk or a chest on chest, but you rarely find it on a bed. The posts have the fancy multi-turned vase-type finials, like the footboards. The overall outside size of each bed is 43 inches wide. The footboard is 49 inches to the finial, 28 inches high from the floor to the cross-spindle stretcher, and 21 inches high to the shield on the base. The headboard is 53 inches high to the finial. The beds have slip-in rails, and the only flaw I can see is that on the inside of the footboard shield there are some rub marks, but they will be hidd

Genuine antique Chinese cigarette poster. Circa early 1900s. Guarantee genuine or your money back. The poster was produced by the Sun Tobacco Company. It depicts a farmer and his family by the duck pond. The man seems to be digging up some mushrooms. The are wearing old Chinese costumes dating back centuries. Two packets of cigarettes featured on the left hand side. The brands are Football and White Horse. On top of the poster is written: Presented by the Sun Tobacco Company. On the bottom is written: Please smoke White Horse and Football brands of cigarettes. The poster was printed by stone printing or lithograph. The quality is excellent as you can see clearly the wordings on the poster. There are some damage on the bottom of the poster. Damage also on the edges of the lower left and right corner. None of the damages has affected the main ... morepicture. The metal rods and the cloth loop are intact. These posters were given away as decorations for homes. The first image is the most accurate in color* This was the backing board to one of the antique Bessie Pease Gutmann print that we bought. I can determine the years 1920s-1930s based upon the age of the print. This is a 20 Mule Team Borax cardboard poster. I do not think that it was cut down from a larger piece. It measures 18" x 14" The colors are extremely bright as it has not been exposed to light in over 85+ years. However. the condition is poor based upon the rips and creases.
