This is a vintage authentic. Original nautical chart for The South Coast of Sicilia(SICILY) Pantelleria to Malta.Defense Mapping Agency by the British& Italian Navy. It is from 1863& 1959 with corrections to 1961.It is in very good condition,has never been rolled only stored flat. The map has no stains or markings on it except it is written on the back, the number& coordinates, and has o nly a couple areas on the very edges that are slightly frayed,the overall condition is like new. This item is an original. Vintage Admirality Chart entitled: Arctic Sea. Davis Strait and Baffin Bay to 75 Degrees 45' North. Publisher: Originally published at the Admirality. 20th April 1875 under the Superintendence of Captain F.J. Evans, R.N. CB: F.R.S. Hydrographer. Revisions: Large corrections: July 1887. June 1890 and June 1901. S mall corrections: 1907 and 1919. Size: 43" X 26 1/2" Condition: Printed on a heavy paper stock. The chart has soiling and staining that is well-represented in photos. Ok so you realize how big the Chesapeake bay is right? Well so is this! And framed under glass so-it's going to cost about as much as a day of fishing to ship it. Is it worth it-yes! I love this map and framed it's so awesome in any decor. My father was a map buff. Some of his maps dating back to the early 1800s This is not a original antique but it's a 26th edition from 1994 and numbered 12270. Published by the US department of Commerce.
