Retirement sale- I retired early due to an injury and am selling some of my items to help pay my medical bills. Up for bid is this custom framed picture containing Irish Terrier cigarette cards and stamps. These collectibles are cleverly mounted in clear plastic corners. So they can be removed. I paid $100 for the cards, custom mat and frame. It is in excellent condition. Any spots or glares are from my camera or scanner. I tried to photograph or scan it from different angels and in different light but couldn't get a perfect picture. I scanned the third picture, and the light reflected off the plastic mounts. This turn of the century jug is quite hefty with black or deep navy blue graphics over a cream/ off-white background with an applied handle highlighted in tan along with the neck. There are no cracks or chips. This item is in good- very good"as found" condition considering the age and use with minimal if any crazing. It appears at one time someone may have used this jug as a candle holder as there is a bit of residual wax to the inner neck area. Any flaws in paint or glaze should be considered a manufacturing flaw and not damage. I have provided some additional photos showing some of the detail. Original Cased Victorian British Irish Deputy Lieutenant's Uniforms Set, And Hat
An impressive set of Named Irish Lord Lt. Items. Set named to FG Pilkington esq. all items come in the original tin travel and storage boxes from Joseph Conan Dublin. The grouping begins with a pair of Victorian period pair of boxed epaulettes. Silver lace straps with plated crescents, silver bullion shamrock sprays mounted within the crescents. Finial buttons show the kings crown over laurel sprays, silver bullion fringes. Lined with red moroccan leather stamped in gold with"J Conan" Dublin and crimson silk complete with japanned carrying tin. Slight tarnish, but nothing that couldn't be brightened up easily. Next item is a double breasted doublet. Two rows of Kings crown buttons. Interior is clear. No rips tears or wear. All quilting is intact and the leather interior waist belt is 100% still soft and supple. All embroidery ... moreon the cuffs and collar are sound, complete and very tight. This item carries a black crepe mourning armband on the left arm. It is my belief this was worn in honor of queen Victoria. The back of the tails still retain the 3 shamrocks. They are complete and present. The second tunic is a Victorian queens crown button single breasted jacket in nearly perfect condition. One of the buttons is actually still wrapped in the paper from the tailor. I don't think it was ever worn. All quilting is 100% the black silk lining on the inside of the collar is perfect. Any the embroidery on the collars and cuffs are perfect. There is a small moth mark on the left cuff. This could be repaired easily. The interior has its red morocco leather belt intact, and supple. Finally the pants which would work well with either tunic are in great shape. Bright silver shamrock lace on both legs. Fabric is of exceptional quality. Silk lining very much intact and in great shape. The beaver bicorne hat is in good shape. In is original tin. Along with plume which has its original tin. Supple tan leather sweatband 100% silk lining with J Conan a bit stained and one part near the logo inside where there is a

Irish provincial sterling silver gravy boat of large size and weight made by Carden Terry of Cork Ireland between 1765 and 1795. The boat is done in a classical form of the times. The rim has a wonderful, beaded edge and the body is raised on three shell or leaf form feet. The handle has a nice acanthus leaf accent on the top. There is an engraved crest on one side of a stag or elk raising one leg. The underside is marked CT twice and sterling. There is somewhere to the maker's mark. As should be expected, but the maker's mark is sharp and clear enough to easily and definitively attribute this piece to Carden Terry. We have shown a photograph of the same exact hallmark as shown in Ian Pickards ... moreJacksons Silver& Gold Marks of England, Scotland& Ireland.
