LArge Galway crystal Ireland biscuit barrel, jar w/masonic lodge symbol?
I have purchased a number of Galway and Waterford pieces during travels to Ireland and England. And have been given some as gifts. I'm not 100% sure if this is Waterford or Galway crystal, but it is a wonderful, heavy jar and lid. I think it is neat that it has what looks to me like the Masonic Lodge of Perfection symbolism as part of the pattern. Might make a great father's day, anniversary, or other gift? It is the LARGER of the 2 jars in the photo(I was trying to give some sense of the scale of this piece) It is 7.25" high and 5" across the base of the jar. The lid is the small"cut out" style for a spoon or such. Ronald Reagan used to keep a spoon for scooping out the jelly beans he stored in his. Tredstep Ireland Galway Gaiter Half Chaps Like Ariat
These are a pair of black leather half chaps or gaiters made by Tredstep of Ireland. They are very lightly used. Not sure I ever even rode in them. The elastic shows no signs of wear, the outside looks very nice with minor scuffing, the inside shows the most wear I assume from where my paddock boots rubbed. There are lots of pics showing the wear and measurements. The tag states: calf 14 inch and length 16 inch, I have outgrown them so I'm assuming that's about a small but please look at the actual measurements.
